"If I had the chance to do it all over again, I wouldn't deceive myself with the so-called troubles of happiness for my entire life, but now, there's no chance left, no more opportunities," she lamented.
"I think that's the life of most domestic women, but life shouldn't be just that," she reflected.
"Margaret Mitchell, an author, was 37 when she wrote 'Gone with the Wind,' a classic that made her a world-famous female writer," she recounted.
"Shirley Temple Black, an actress and politician, was 47 when she was appointed as the United States Ambassador to Ghana," she noted.
"Margaret Chase Smith, a politician, was 51 when she first became a United States Senator," she mentioned.
"Ruth Gordon, an actress, was 72 when she received her first Oscar," she pointed out.
"Golda Meir, a politician, was 71 when she was elected Prime Minister of Israel," she highlighted.
"Anna Robertson, a painter, created her first work of art at the age of 76," she added.
