I flipped my notebook close. “That’s all for today”, I heard Dylan say to everyone. Making the room slowly lessen with people that attended the meeting.
I stood up and went to his chair. “Sir, that’s your last meeting for this day”, I informed him.
He nodded for a response. His gesture sent me off but I instantly stopped in my way after he muttered a question related to what happened the other day, “Are you okay?”
I turned around and saw how he looked at me. His eyes were full of worries and concern. But this only gives me confusion.
I smiled and said, “Yes”. That’s a lie.
