This time around, Eric left the city safe zone and really stepped into the wild…
Running past the wide plain marked as a safe zone around the city, Eric felt excitement coursing through his veins as he witnessed the wild world… The lush forest, wetlands and swamps, stretching out through the external plains that he could barely cover with his sight.
"Wow"
The bone-piercing cold wind was like a giant beast crouching in the forest, opening its bloody maw and waiting for its prey to enter.
"Here we go" driven by a sense of curiosity and excitement, Eric rushed forward, disappearing between the tall trees that marked the territorial reign of monsters within.

Whoosh!
"Ehhn?, feeling a sense of danger, Eric pulled to a halt, quickly maintaining a half-baked battle stance as he glanced warily at his surroundings .
Sure enough, he seemed to have found his first prey…
"Hiss" "Hiss" "Hiss
A huge python that was more than four meters long, its entire body like a pile of scorching rocks, coming to form a being, came into view. Slowly slithering towards him with its predatory gaze.
"Hiss"
It slithered, sewed in flame as it burned the surrounding bush and lit the trees on fire.
Eric frowned, he didn't expect to encounter a rare Low Level Vicious Monster, Lava Python, that looked like it could battle a Middle Level Vicious Monster, just a few minutes after entering the forest.
Due to the unforeseen Bloodline Inheritance being impacted on him before he had almost lost his life, strengthening last time, he destroyed the Peak Vicious Monster , Thunder Gale Wolf, which tried to sneak attack him, and suffered misfortune thanks to his breakthrough.
Right then, the Lava Python shot out a mold of molten lava towards him, but Eric dodged, diving a sideways roll, as it flew past him.
Bang!
The black tree behind him which bore the brunt of the attack broke, lit up in flame as it fell down.
Seeing its attack had missed, the Python released a hiss, staring hungrily at Eric with its crimson eyes, like he was its most favorite dish that it had ever preyed on.
But not dwelling as he regained his balance, Eric rushed forth with amazing speed, imbuing every ounce of strength he had into his blade, he slashed forward.
Reacting, the Lava Python smacked out with its lower body to defend against Eric's slash, then spat out a reddish molten at him.
Eric then turned his blade sideways, like a baseball bat before smashing it out at the incoming attack, sending back the molten lava back at the Python.
But surprising Eric, cracks spread across the blade afterwards, chirping towards its sharp edge.
"Hiss!"
The Lava Python let out an angry hiss, annoyed by how Eric returned back its own attack.
Speeding up, Eric clashed the blade against the Python's head… but unfortunately, instead of a beheading scene…
A CLANG! Sound was heard and the upper part of the blade completely broke off , with Eric sent reeling backward in surprise.
Quickly, he surfed the information he read about Monsters, and the Lava Python in particular, in his head… coming to realize that the Lava Python apart from flame also had ability relating to earth, making it one of the strongest defensive Monsters in the same rank.
Regaining his stance with his half broken blade in hand, Eric and the Python faced off…
The Python fervent gaze like it couldn't wait to devour him, made Eric look back at with confused oddity.
Glancing at his attribute panel, the most overpowered and only skill he had.
Dragon Slash
He threw away the thought of using it, off his head, his gaze became resolute, thinking he only came here to train himself not to fight like a brute…
So, unless it was absolutely necessary, he didn't want to use this overpowered skill.
Eric then clashed with the Lava Python once more. Although the area wasn't wide, thanks to the Big Python who had broken off a few trees, with its body, clearing out some space with its flames, Eric now had the ground to build of his speed. Swiftly dashing towards the python with full speed, he made a feint, posture of wanting to jump, fooling the Python who mainly relied on its instinct, and visuals to react.
Immediately raising up its body, coiling up in preparation to bite the cunning Eric mid air after his jump … Eric slid with a short burst of speed, holding his broken blade as he thrust with his full strength, towards the lower part of the Lava Python.
Swoosh!
A bloody gash was left on the python, with red blood spurting out.
Hisss! Hisssssss!
The Lava Python wailed , wiggling its body, as it began shooting out lava randomly, greatly alarmed by Eric's brute strength, which greatly injured it.
The Python went berserk, losing its patience, it stared menacingly at Eric, with its crimson-colored demonic eyes, oozing with rage .
'Ehn?'
Before Eric could celebrate his successful combo, he heard the Python scary hiss, now filled with demonic aura , charging towards him without any care for its death..
'Why is the bastard suddenly going berserk?'
Jumping straight into the air, he activated his skill Dragon Slash and unleashed it on the berserk Python.

Suddenly, an overwhelming force that was enough to bring back the Lava Python out of it's berserk state erupted from Eric , mercilessly cleaving the python's head into two, before it could let out its last struggle before death. The Python's body shook a few times, before all signs of vitality vanished from it, its seething scale cooling off as the lava spewing from it started disappearing.
"Wow, that was quite a battle" Eric stated happily, breathing out a relieved sigh, before glancing at the Lava Python corpse, which cost a fortune.
" What a bountiful hunt"
But then a series of words appeared on his screen...
STORAGE SPACE OPENED
'ehn?'
Eric stared at the system-like screen that suddenly popped up, in capital letters.
Touching the python's corpse , he willed for it to disappear and it did .
Willing it back out, the Python's corpse appeared where it had been before, then he willed again, it disappeared and a visual transmission of the Python's corpse appeared in his mind in a dark space.
After that, Eric quickly checked the surroundings before running towards the direction Mr Lava Python came from.
One of the survival tips he read from the " Mystic Guide" was to leave the battle scene after a fight, if not more monsters and greedy humans would come to check out the place . But even more unfortunate was if someone was still engaged in a desperate battle .
Meanwhile, just 10 minutes after Eric left three overbearing Peak Vicious Monsters came sniffing the air , revealing their fervent crimson eyes, with drool dropping from their mouths.
Whilst some human mystics who wanted to check things out, were scared by these auras, wondering why such Vicious Monsters suddenly came to the outer part of the forest.
