[You have slain a rank 1 xenogenetic dwarf spider(infant) ]
[You have obtained the accumulated radiants of a rank one xenogenetic.]
[State of Solidity has increased by 2 points]
[Integrity has increased by 20 points]
'Infant dwarf spider', Thorne thought. 'How was a creature of this size an infant?'
'If this was an infant, then how would the adult dwarf spider look like?'
Suddenly, Thorne didn't want to stay here anymore. He knew his limits. If an adult one came over, they would be sent straight back to the spawn point. No hassle whatsoever.
He turned to the the two and found them staring at him, wide eyed.
"Is something wrong?" He asked.
"Is something wrong?" Po laughed hysterically. This freak was really asking if something was wrong.
Did he not see the absurdity of his actions? Killing a xenogenetic in one hit, even he wouldn't dare to think about bragging of accomplishing this feat in his usual rants.
Killing a xenogenetic in one hit! If those old folks heard of this, they would probably be all over him in seconds. Who wouldn't value such a powerhouse?
Just to kill a single xenogenetic bee, Po had seen five gold constructs band together. Only then were they able to defeat it. A few of them were even injured in the process. Yet this monstrous fellow single handedly killed one in a few seconds and had the nerve to ask what was wrong.
Just what was up with this team. One person diminished the quantity and quality of his brain cells while the other gave spontaneous heart attacks. Po immediately came to a startling conclusion.
His divine life was in danger!
These two didn't even need weapons to kill him.
"Awesome" Mufasa flapped excitedly and flew over to the slain creature. Circling its carcass, he repeatedly prodded its thick outer shell with his claws. They didn't even leave a scratch.
Seeing the squashy mess Thorne had made of the spider's head, Mufasa reprimanded him thoughtfully.
"Little Seven try slicing it in half next time like those bees. Squashing it like this makes the scene disgusting. Kill with style bro."
Po almost fell down when he heard him. Bees! This freak had killed bees too. And he sliced them in clean halves. Were they even playing the same game?
He made a mental note to reassess the power of the named children when he got back before those fellows provoked a monster.
If this was the power of the seventh, how monstrous would the top three be?
Po sighed. The allied families were overtaking them by a wide margin. He needed to find a way to recruit the seventh fast, or even get a hold of his real identity.
"Alright, let's get going."
Thorne decided it was time for them to start grinding. First he needed to find a spot with some congregated monsters. Fortunately, he had just the person for this job.
"Mufasa, fly up and scout head. Look for places with a congregation of xenogenetics. The leaderboard isn't going to add us by itself."
"Aye Captain!"
With a reassuring response, he flew up and away.
Thorne also decided to ask Po of his starshard. He figured it be best if they knew the overall combat ability of the team before they messed up in their upcoming endeavors.
[Starshard: Helionite]
Description: Flame is your best ally
"I can only afford twenty fireballs before my energy runs out. I'll need ten minutes to recover afterwards before i can cast more."
Po revealed everything about his starshard to Thorne.
He also included his state of solidity stat points and integrity points which were 3 and 15 respectively.
The pathetic numbers left Thorne dumbfounded. This fellow dared attack the dwarf spider with such low stats. A single prod from the spider would have killed him.
"CAPTAIN! Little Seven, i found a hole." Right at that instant, Mufasa hurriedly flew over, yelling.
Po and Thorne exchanged incredulous glances, after which Po asked the very obvious question.
"Weren't you asked to find mobs?"
....
Some time later, the trio were standing at the ends of the mushroom zone. Ahead of them lay a stunning view of a field of glowing flowers, but their attention was on the giant hole right in front of them that was so dark that they couldn't figure out how deep it went.
"Alright, I'm going in" Thorne spoke first and before the two could even react, he leapt into he hole.
"Heyy!"
"Are you crazy?"
Mufasa and Po yelled out at the same time but Thorne was already gone. Left with no other choice, the two also followed suit. Po was seriously cursing his bad luck.
He was cushioned from his fall by large mushroom stalks that happened to grow there. The few broken ones beside him indicated Thorne was fine as well. As for Mufasa, well that fellow could fly.
He found the two standing at the edge of a large underground cavern. When he joined them and peered into it, he was stunned.
The cavern was illuminated by a soft, warm light that seemed to emanate from the very walls themselves, casting everything in a golden glow.
As they looked up, they noticed a massive hive hanging from the ceiling, suspended by hundreds of delicate-looking strands of a thick, fibrous material. The hive itself was a marvel, with dozens of hexagonal chambers arranged in a complex pattern, all nestled together like the cells of a honeycomb.
The hive was enormous, easily the size of a large mansion and yet despite its size, it seemed almost weightless, suspended as it was from the ceiling.
Every so often, it swayed gently from the gusts of air entering the cave.
A few giant red bees could be seen, moving randomly around the hive as if on patrol. The trio were sure there were thousands of them in the hive.
Po couldn't help but say,
"Jackpot."

At first nobody believed it. They all thought it was some random article written by some delusional journalist with visions of grandeur. However, when more articles came out, when conclusive evidence was provided, they were forced to believe it They had to.
One particular article read;
[Game sold by government kills over twenty thousand people in a day; Population control or deranged murder spree?]
The news alarmed the entire continent.
Throughout the five cities, people took to the streets. They demanded an explanation.
The bereaved sought retribution.
