After Jiang XinYan had calm down from the shock and scare of finding out Wen Xi Lan had come to Jiang Cooperation all by himself. She decided the next best action was to call his father and arrange for someone to pick him up.

She left Wen Xi Lan with Chu YingZi in the lounge to fetch for her phone.Going through her personal phone, Jiang XinYan unblocked the number she had blacklisted and dialled.The ringing blared for a while and yet the person didn't pick up. Confused, Jiang XinYan redialled the number, however this time it went straight voicemail.Frustrated, she called three more times and yet she was still met with an automated voicemail.Wen JunXi, is this your revenge because I blacklisted you? Jiang XinYan concluded.Either this or he was too busy to pick the line. Jiang XinYan glared at her phone before frustratingly placing it away.She then returned to the lounge room and decided she will have to personally drop him off.When she opened the door, she was amused to find her two favourite people, one child and one woman currently having a stare off.She interrupted their game and said, "Ah-Lan, your daddy is not picking up his phone... you don't mind waiting here for aunt to finish her work before I take you to him?""Mm!" The little dumpling excitedly agreed, his smiling eyes becoming a crescent moon."Zi Zi will you look after him while I wrap my work up.""Sure. I'm going to be a mother soon, so I know you want me to get used to taking care of a child, I'll help you look after him." Chu Ying Zi assented.When Jiang XinYan left to finish her work, the two people left behind resumed their stare off. Chu YingZi this time decided to break the silence."Brat, why are you deceiving my Yan'er?" She narrowed her eyes at the little dumpling.Although he was adorably cute, Chu YingZi still treated him like an outsider that had bad designs on her best friend.Earlier, Jiang XinYan had believed his story about coming here on his own, however, Chu YingZi was a veteran in this game. He defended his daddy."Brat, I've known my Yan'er for four years now, when did she gave birth to you.""I have proof... see." Wen Xi Lan unveiled his locket and showed her the picture of his parents. Specifically, when Jiang XinYan was heavily pregnant back then.Chu YingZi was shocked at this. It really was the truth.So, Jiang XinYan was married to Wen JunXi before? She was his infamous hidden wife that no one ever saw, everyone had thought she was phantom bride.But how can that be? Jiang XinYan didn't seem to truly treat Ah-Lan like her own. Whatever it was, he desperately wanted to know in order to use it in the future to alleviate the perpetual grumpy mood his boss was always in.Sensing his assistant's approach, Wen JunXi lost the smile and placed his phone on busy mode."Sir, the board room is ready for your meeting." Assistant Chen informed Wen JunXi."Mm." Wen JunXi acquiesced."Chen Jin, Wen Xi Lan will come later." He began."Okay." Chen Jin replied."His mother will be accompanying him," Wen JunXi continued. "Bring some of his toy from his playroom and situate them in my office. If she asks to leave, delay her as much as possible until I'm done. Wen Xi Lan will occupy her, so you don't have to worry.""Yes Sir." Chen Jin mechanically replied once again.Then as if realising what he just heard, he exclaimed,"Sir, his mother?!"Wen JunXi frowned at him. Chen Jin quickly returned his normal expression. However, internally he was flabbergasted.His mind wired chaotically trying to figure out if Wen JunXi had somehow remarried without his knowledge. As far as Chen Jin was aware, Wen Xi Lan lost his mother as soon as he was born.Since Wen JunXi has not remarried, the only possibility was that he had finally found the young madam, whom he had been scouring for four years.When did the young madam return? How come he hasn't seen her back at Wen residence?Assistant Chen was astonished with Wen JunXi's casual statement. Jiang XinYan didn't question her motive and only felt it was better this way.That way, she could ask the housekeeper to send helpers to clean her condominium in preparation for Chu YingZi stay.After that she informed her grandfather about Chu YingZi's and implored him to take care of her while she returns Wen Xi Lan back to his father.Her grandfather had grumbled and asked why not Ah-Lan just come over and stay for dinner, however Jiang XinYan was adamant, and she reminded him that Wen Xi Lan left without informing his father.Her grandfather was still sceptical about this whole event, but he decided to let go.
