A Year Later
That day, after school, Emily rushed over to Georgie's house after she changed her clothes, it was something she always did every day. She rang Georgie's doorbell but it was strange that no one opened the door for her.
"Gigi, it's me" Emily screamed but no one answered. After she tried to ring the bell many times, she returned to her house, her mother and father were not home.
Emily sat on her terrace, she waited for Georgie to come back, but until the evening she didn't see anyone back there except her mother and father.
"Emily, what are you doing here? It's cold out here, come in, you could get sick" Her mother said.
"I waited for Gigi, but no one answered the door for me," Emily said.
"Don't you know? They went to Georgie's grandmother's house because his grandmother was sick," her mother said.
"Really? Why didn't he tell me" Emily said, an annoyed look on her face and she headed inside her house.
"What's wrong with her?" Tom said.
"I don't know, maybe she's just bored at home alone," Maureen said.
"Ahh I told you, she needs a little brother," Tom said.
"Aish, forget it, come on in," Maureen said and they went inside the house.
Emily seemed to be lying with her stomach on the bed, she was very annoyed because Georgie didn't say anything to her yesterday, she was waiting for Georgie but he didn't come either.
'knock..knock..'
"Emily eats dinner first Daddy bought your favorite pizza," her dad said.
"Can I eat in my room?" Emily said and her father came into Emily's room with a pizza box in his hand.
"Of course, you can," his father approached Emily and made Emily sit on her bed.
"Why is your face like that?" her father said.
"I'm annoyed that Georgie didn't tell me he was leaving today," Emily said.
"He must have been in a hurry and didn't have time to tell you," her father said.
"But I'm waiting for him," Emily said through a pout.
"Emily," Her father said and Emily just looked at him.
"Soon you will have a birthday, and in 9 years we will both see the results, Omega or Beta whatever it is, never regret it, it's the best for you, your attitude like this shows you are a Beta, for me it doesn't matter, as long as I and your mother is here, we will always support you," her father said.
"What if I become an Omega?" Emily said.
"Then you will be a strong Omega, look at your mother, she is a strong and brave Omega, this attitude you inherited from her," her father said.
"Does that mean I can be with Gigi together forever?" Emily said and her father was quite surprised at the question.
"Do you want to be with your Gigi?" her father said.
"Of course, we promised to be together forever," Emily said and her father just smiled.
"Emily, there's something you should know, all of us who are born into this world already have our mates, the Moon Goddess has given us the best mate to accompany us until the end of our lives, but it's not just fate that can unite the two of them, there is something stronger from that, it's love. If later it's not Gigi who becomes your mate, you can't be sad, if he's an Alpha, he must find his mate immediately before his mate dies and your Alpha will also look for you so you can live happily with him," Her father said.
"No, I don't want to be with anyone else, I just want to be with Gigi, I promised him, if Gigi isn't my mate, I will still love him, you said love is stronger right?" Emily said and her father was silent at his daughter's answer.
During their year together, many things happened between Emily and Georgie. Everything just happened, made them feel comfortable when they were together and depended on each other. That day was the first time since they were together, Emily didn't see Georgie, she didn't know where Georgie had gone and when he would be back.
