A young man sat at the corner of the platform with his wrist slit open, and blood flowed through these strange patterns. He looked at the girl, and tenderness flowed through his eyes.
A dark, bloody smell covered the entire room as a slight bloody odour filled the air.
She slowly reached out and sat on the platform.
Lin Tian's face paled from considerable blood loss, yet he bit his teeth and continued. The sacrificial plate gradually filled up with blood, at which point it gradually brightened and began to shine with golden lights. The platform was filled with an immeasurable Qi storm. A tremendous amount of energy rushed into the little girl's body. A majestic, sacred aura slowly descended upon the plate form as black and golden runes gradually emerged on her body. Everyone became excited, but just as they believed the little girl's ancient lineage was about to be awakened, the blood flowing on the sacrifice platform stopped.
A stinging agony radiated throughout the young girl's body when the blood flow halted, disrupting her awakening and causing her to scream aloud. Quickly nodding, Lin Tian said, "Of course, how can I not come to visit our little Fei?" then gave her an intense hug.
Ye Fei felt shy, and her cheeks turned red and crimson. She buried her head in Lin Tian's arrogant chest in an attempt to conceal her awkwardness from being noticed by him.
A small cough could be heard as they realised they had no intention of breaking this bear hug.
"Cough, cough. Ye Qinhua started coughing uncontrollably.
The abrupt sound frightened Lin Tian and Ye Fei, who swiftly split apart.
She averted her head in shame when she realised she had been seen hugging in public. She wished to dig a pit and bury her shame.
Ye Qinhua, who was also uncomfortable, couldn't help but remark that "young people should restrain themselves."
In shame, Ye Fei shouted, "Aunty, when did you come?"
