The vacation is over, and we are back in our country. I missed my friend Macy. she's the only friend that I have. I have a lot of things to tell her and also give her the gift I bought for her.
I went to her place later in the evening, and she was so happy to see me. After staying with her for complete two hours I bade my goodbyes. From there, I went to my daddy's company to see him.
"You can go and eat, it's lunchtime," I told my driver who smiles happily at me.
"thank you, ma'am, but please let me know if you are through"
I nod my head in agreement. I went straight to my daddy's office, greeting his workers who I met in the elevator. He did not know that I'm coming. I want to surprise him but I regret doing so. Dad is dying. I overheard everything his doctor told him. It keeps on echoing in my head.
"I'm sorry Mr. Daniel, you have just a few months to live. The chemical has damaged your immune system. It has caused Bronchogenic carcinoma SCLC and Acute myeloid leukemia which is now in their final stage"
"That means all the treatments received did not do anything to it. There is no treatment"

I couldn't hold it any longer

From that day onward, I stayed closer to my Dad, enjoying the last moment that I have with him. uncle Jude visits him always. I know that it is also hard for him. His only brother and relative. I have caught him crying many times and I will join him.
"Uncle Jude, when are we going to wake up from this dream?"
"I don't know sweetheart. I badly want to wake up but the dream is endless"
