[Abra Show]
{Welcome back to the greatest show in all the realms, 'Are you courting death!'} Abra announced excitedly, with her usual victims sitting around the table. {Tonight is special, you see, a valuable fellow cultivator has come back from her breakthrough tribulations.}
{It's me, the senior Abratwo!} Abratwo said, teleporting back, earning a groan from everyone else. {Did you all miss me? There's no need for that; we don't need to announce how much my absence affected you all.}
{No, it was actually can you go away again,} Alakazam said, sipping yet another cup of coffee.
{The extra quiet time was nice. I got to read my book more…} Drowzee said, shifting nervously in his chair.
And Psyduck just stayed quiet, burying his face in his arms. The exertion took a lot out of him, and he's still feeling the effects.
{Don't be silly, brothers. We know you missed your fellow sister,} Abra said.
Abratwo nodded along next to Abra. {But I think we should get to the proper talk, like how junior brother Psyduck's breakthrough.}
{Oh boy, this can't be good,} Alakazam said. {What did you do to him?}
{Nonsense, Senior Brother. You see, Junior Brother Psyduck went berserk and awakened his inner demon, which is the first step towards becoming a demonic cultivator—truly a brave path to follow. But don't worry, your Senior Sister will still support you!} Abra said.
Alakazam and Drowzee looked at each other, then at Psyduck. Psyduck raised his head. {Psyduck lost control of Psyduck's powers. Psyduck was thinking about how much listening to Abra hurts Psyduck, and Psyduck lost control.}
Alakazam and Drowzee immediately understood and nodded solemnly. {That makes sense. I feel sorry for you,} Alakazam said as he gave Psyduck some coffee.
{But enough about that. There is a more interesting topic, for I have finally revealed my first named attack,} Abra announced as she lit up her fist in fire. {This is my Sun-Devouring Fist of the Eternal Abyss' Wrath. Aren't I amazing!}
Abratwo scoffed as she also stood up and lit her fist on fire. {Impressive, but it is no match for my Blazing Inferno Fist of the Nine Realms' Eternal Conflagration. It seems like, as always, I am the superior senior.}
{What! Are you courting death, sister?} Abra said. {You dare say you are better? I'll cripple your mana core for that.}
{Try it! You dare defy the heavens? I'll show you!} Abratwo said as they both teleported away.
Alakazam and Drowzee looked at each other, then at Psyduck. Then Drowzee walked over to the center seat and put his book on his lap. {Since we're here now, I'd like to share my book with all of you. Ahem, Chapter 1, Dream Theory….}

{Back with Ash}
Ash was sitting in a nice rustic home, he took off his jacket and rolled up his sleeves as he was inspecting Olesia's mother.
Olesia and Pikachu were sitting on the nearby couch, with Pikachu sitting on Olesia's lap as he was munching on a cookie.
Meanwhile, Olesia's mother looked rather embarrassed, "You know, dear, I said it would be fine, you didn't have to come here, much less with someone to check on my leg."
"No, Mom, you can't just say that and expect me not to worry about you. Besides, some nice people are taking care of the Wooper, so it's fine, and Ash is a Doctor."
"I mean, are you sure? He's just so…young," Olesia's mother said. "No offense, of course."
"None taken," Ash said as he rummaged in his bag and pulled out some equipment. "But I do have medical training, even if I don't have my diploma on me."
Ash also reached to his belt and pulled out Clefairy, who stood on the other side of her leg. "If you don't trust me, surely you at least trust a Clefairy."
As Ash did one final check, "Alright, you're lucky, it's only a minor fracture with some swelling. Yeah, this is nothing. Clefairy, help me out."
Clefairy nodded and began using [Heal Pulse] on her leg as Ash started wrapping a cast on her leg, wrapping it as Clefairy did her magic.
"Alright, with that, Clefairy fixed most of the problem. You'll be fine, but try not to put too much pressure on that leg for the rest of the day, and in a few days, the swelling will go away too," Ash said as Clefairy jumped back to his shoulder.
Olesia's mother nodded as she already felt the relief as she slowly got up, putting most of her weight on her good leg but testing out her other one. "Yeah, that feels much better, thank you, and sorry I doubted you," she apologized.
"It's fine," Ash said, putting his supplies back in his bag. "But this has reminded me I wanted to get my license to practice surgery one of these days."
Olesia got up, still holding Pikachu, as she gently lent a hand for her mother to hold. "Are you sure you're ok, like no pain or anything?"
Olesia's mom took the hand for support. "No, the pain is gone, but it kinda feels uncomfortable when I put pressure on it."
"Yeah, that's the swelling. Don't worry it will go down, but keep the cast on for the rest of the day. You can take it off tomorrow," Ash said as he put his bag on again. "So I guess this means we should go, right?"
Olesia was about to agree, but her mother shook her head. "Nonsense, you came all this way, and you helped me. At least let me whip something up."
"Mom, no, you can't, you shouldn't put pressure on your leg," Olesia said.
"It's fine; I'll just put a chair and rest my leg on that. That way, my leg will be fine. Come on, I insist, stay for a little while," Olesia's mother said.
Olesia sighed as she looked at her watch and then at Ash. "How do you think everyone is doing? Do you think they're ok?"
"Errrr…" Ash thought about it.
{Meanwhile}
Brock was tied to a tree as Wooper danced around it. Misty was on the ground next to the pond as Wooper danced around her, with the Wooper she met earlier sitting on her head, and Yellow….was actually fine. They were sleeping on her, and that's it.
{Back to Ash}
Ash thought about it, "...yeah they're probably fine, sure I guess we can stay a little," he said, seeing that Olesia wanted to stay a little longer for her mother.
Olesia's mom smiled. "Then it's decided. Come on, Olesia, if you're so worried, you can help me."
sigh. "Ok, Mom, but just because I need to," but even though Olesia said that, she had a relieved smile on her face as the two women went to the kitchen.
Ash sat back on his seat and sighed. Seeing Olesia and her mother made him remember his own mom. As he reminisced about the past, suddenly, a realization hit him like a bag of bricks.
He sat up as he remembered. Here in this world, the movies were canon, which means the 3rd movie is going to happen soon, but he doesn't know when.
Ash sat there thinking as he pulled out his Rotom phone and checked for information from his world about the 3rd movie. He needs to be prepared for anything. He doesn't know what's going to happen. Every time he's faced one of the movie plots, they've been different.
In the first movie, Mewtwo led all the trainers to the island, which gave him a larger army. In the second movie, Lawrence III shot him through the chest. Even in the I Choose You movie, he had to face a darkness-boosted Cross with an army of Pokémon.
There's no telling what's going to happen, what's different, he doesn't know. All he could do was prepare for the worst-case scenario, but as he saw Olesia and her mom come back into the living room, he put the phone away for later.
But even as they ate a little, Ash couldn't help but wonder what's going on with them.

Spencer Hale was a researcher and a good one, too. He was top of his class, second only to his good friend Delia. They were both students of Professor Oak, but their lives took different turns.
Spencer admits that at one point, he had feelings for Delia, but it wouldn't have worked out. Delia was content with her life, while Spencer wanted more and more. He traveled the world and became rich before getting ready to get married.
Originally, he wanted to return to Pallet and see if Delia would marry him, but when he returned, he saw that she was already married and had a 4-year-old son named Ash. He still remembers that boy; he had eyes that almost saw right through him.
So instead, Spencer left, calling him and Delia nothing more than friends, and eventually fell in love with someone else. One year later, he had his daughter Molly. It was the happiest he'd ever been. He even took little Molly to Pallet Town to meet everyone and that one boy, Ash.
Unfortunately, things don't always stay happy because 3 years later, his wife passed away, and Spencer took on more work to drown out his sorrows as a way to cope. But that means he neglected Molly.
He felt bad about it. He knows he shouldn't have. Even if Molly has the servants in the class to take care of her, he knows he should be with her. But every time she said those words, it made his heart sink.
"I want a mama too."
She was gone, and she wasn't coming back, but he didn't know how to tell her. He didn't have the heart to look at his precious daughter and tell her, so he just drowned his problems in his work.
Tonight, however, Spencer took a moment to finally sit with Molly. She asked him for a story, so he picked the storybook he knew she liked. It was more of a picture book on legendary Pokémon.
As he flipped the page, he reached the one with Unown. Molly looked with sparkles in her eyes. "Papa, that's the one you're looking for, right?"
"That's right, the Unown. Not much is known about them, but it is said that together, they can do anything," Spencer said. "I've been looking for them ever since—" but he stopped himself.
The truth is, part of the reason he looked for the Unown was their rumored power to do anything. He didn't know if it was even true, but if it was, he had one wish—to revive his wife. But his research had yielded no results. No one had seen Unown in centuries. Some people even believed they were extinct.
Changing the subject, he flipped the page to a picture of Entei with a girl riding on top of it. "Ohh, Entei!" Molly said. Out of all the Pokémon in the book, Entei was her favorite.
"Really? But I think Entei is kinda scary~" Spencer teased, feigning fear. "But you like Entei, you're so much braver than Papa."
Molly looked proud. "Of course! Entei is big and strong, but he's also really nice. And he reminds me a lot of you, Papa!"
Spencer smiled. "Well, in that case, I am Entei," he said, growling playfully. "How could you have seen past my disguise?"
"Ahh, haha, Papa, no," Molly said happily as Spencer picked her up and carried her around. "You're so silly, Papa. There's no way you're Entei."
"But I am Entei. See? Rawwrrr!" Spencer said playfully as he laughed with Molly. But the moment was cut short when suddenly the computer rang with another email notification.
Molly's face lowered. "No… it's always him…"
Spencer patted Molly as he placed her on the bed. "Don't worry. I promised I would stay here with you tonight, didn't I?" he said with a smile, making Molly brighten.
"Yeah, you did!"
Spencer smiled and opened up the email, revealing a video from his assistant, Schuyler. He pressed play, and the recording began. "Professor! We have some news! We have sightings of the Unown! Finally, after everything, we found them!"
Spencer's eyes widened. He could hardly believe it. He had almost lost hope, but now, the Unown were here. He had to see them. Just as he stood up, he felt a tug on his shirt. Molly was holding on.
"But Papa, you promised you'd stay with me," she said, her voice low as she kept her head down.
Spencer's heart shattered seeing Molly like this. "P-please, Molly, this is different. The Unown are here. There's no telling if they'll disappear again. I have to do this."
Molly looked like she wanted to cry. "You always say that, Papa. Why do you always put work over me? Do you not love me anymore, Papa?"
Spencer's heart broke even more. He wanted nothing more than to pull her into a hug and tell her everything would be okay, but he couldn't… not yet. "Molly, no, listen to me. I love you more than anything in the world, and I promise you—after this, I'll tell you everything. Everything I've been hiding from you, and I'll make it up tenfold."
Molly still didn't look up, but with a trembling voice, she asked, "Do you pinky promise, Papa? This is the last time?"
Spencer nodded as he held his pinky out. "Yeah. Once I get back, regardless of whether I succeed, you'll get the whole truth. Nothing less."
Molly clasped her tiny pinky with Spencer's, then hugged him. "Okay. I believe you, Papa. I love you."
Spencer smiled and hugged her back. "I love you too, Molly. More than anything. And I'm sorry, but this will be the last time."
As he tucked Molly into bed and walked out of the room, no one could have known how right those words were…
