"This isn't Earth anymore, is it?" Aaron Bell woke to a new world with confusion.
He just went on a walk early in the morning and as he was about to cross the street a truck came out of nowhere and hit him so hard that he lost consciousness.
Next thing he knew, he is now in an unfamiliar room with many strange things, and on the walls were posters about people with part of their bodies looking strange, one has a sword-like right hand while some had legs that looks like they came from a horse and there are people with tails and wings.
The posters all had two huge words written on them "Demon Hunter".
Suddenly, Aaron Bell's head started to hurt and he hit the ground. A thousand memories about the former owner of the body surged into his head, giving him information about this world.
In this world, humans have been at a war with demons and the demons seem to be invulnerable to any manmade weapons. Even when all of the odds are stacked against humanity they persevere until they finally came up with a solution.
When a demon dies, sometimes they will leave a bone behind, and within those bones are the power of the demons and humans can gain its power by integrating it into their own body.
These people are called Demon Hunters and it is the most popular profession at the time because not only they can gain many privileges that normal people don't have and they are protected by the government, not many people can become Demon Hunters because before it can be integrated into a human there must first be a compatibility between the human and the bone or else the person will just suffer or worse they will die.
The previous owner of the body worked for most of his life as he was an orphan because his parents died in the first demon wave after that the previous owner had a huge hatred for the demons that he promised to kill them all.
On his 18th birthday, he finally has enough money to buy one demon bone. He went to the Black Market to buy one and finally went home. After going home he quickly tried to integrate bone into his body but failed miserably because the bone that he bought was a defect and he was tricked by a person in the Black Market. The defective bone that he bought had a parasitic attribute and killed the previous owner.
It seems like both he and the previous owner died pathetically, Aaron died because of an over-speeding van while the previous owner died at the hand of the parasitic bone of the demon that he swore to destroy.
Aaron Bell looked around the room trying to find the bone that killed the previous owner but couldn't find it anywhere.
Beep.
Aaron Bell heard something that somewhat sound like a ringtone from an appliance then he was shocked by what he saw in front of him.
It was a Status Window with information about himself and a picture at the upper right of the previous owner.

Aaron Bell realized that the reason why the Demon Bone didn't kill him must be because of the ability that he has. He might have unconsciously absorbed the Demon Bone when he took over the body and integrated with it.
According to the previous owner's memory, there is no way to integrate with a parasitic Demon Bone because they tend to kill the person in the process, and if they do survive, they will hear whispers telling them to do things that will make them crazy.
His situation is different because of his cheat ability so he must be the only person to have a parasitic bone.
