Chapter 4 - Chapter 3

Chapter 3: Timeskip

The gates to UA were large, and yet they weren't even the nicest part. On both sides of the concrete path beautifully greenery spread in every direction leading towards a strange H shaped glass building. Every step was a step closer to the original owner of this body's dream. He had such beautiful dreams, to be a hero to save people, uncaring about money and fame. I was the opposite, I cared not for others just myself and the profit I could gain by being a famous hero.

Clenching my fist I made my first step, and nearly tripped. Bakugo walked past, and needed to take four looks before realizing who I was. Taller, muscular, and wearing a face mask I had to have looked weird to him. I walked with a confidence born of kicking multiple pro-heroes asses. Sure that was with my quirks, but I still felt I would have won against a fair number of them even without using them.

At the same time I was walking into UA I was also talking to Giren. Smiling I nodded, I had a good reputation in the underworld at this point. Most villains were spiteful of heroes, and I made it my mission to embarrass heroes, and pick apart their weaknesses before putting them on blast. The voice also helped. Another gang wanted to hire some muscle for a deal. It was a large one, nearly six million yen in Cocaine.

Something told me that I was going to be careful with this mission. Entering through the doors of UA I smiled, it was a nice lobby, following through a door labeled # 1, I walked to the side and looked for a note card with my name on it. Turning and walking up the stairs I found the sixth row before plopped into my seat next to Bakugo. The slight smirk covered by my mask, he was fuming, and looked about ready to explode. As the lights dimmed Present Mic walked up, his hair in a strange style that made him look like a blonde spike.

"HELLO LISTENERS"

Dead silence, no one spoke, he just muttered something under his breath I couldn't make out before shouting. The entrance exam was the same as the anime, where you enter a cityscape and fight against giant robots. A large 3 pointer, a medium 2 pointer, and a still quite large one pointer, then the 0 pointer that I knew was massive.

My plan was simple: break a zero pointer and use the scraps as a weapon. If fucking invisible girl could get in so can I. Weapons weren't allowed, so I had to use my fists for the first attack. Someone started to yell, but I ignored them. I wonder if they are made of metal or plastic, or if each level is more resistant than the last. The two pointer looks like it has a tail spike so I might be able to rip that off and use it like a spear.

Or a knife depending on the size, hmm throwing something at the rockets on the three pointer might work, make it explode from the inside. Everyone started to stare at me, before I glanced up.

"What?" I asked before the same person started to scream again, "YOUR DISRUPTING THE CLASS?"

"And you're not? At most I was muttering, not shouting." I just sighed before starting to plan again, tuning him out. I could trip a one pointer, rip off its arm guard and use it as a shield, bash it against the spike of a two pointer until it breaks and throw the spike into the missile socket of a three pointer.

The bell started to ring, so I stood and went to the site labeled on my card. Iida was just sulking in a corner, walking past Uraraka. I stood near the entrance, and listened. The second he shouted "Go!" I was sprinting. My gaze flicked from spot to spot until I found a stop sign. Sliding I grabbed a sharp rock and slammed it against the base of the sign, once, twice, three times. Ripping it from the ground I knocked the stop sign off of the pole before starting to spring.

One pointer, with my left hand I aimed and flung the sign like a Frisbee, adding a slight spin to it. The single tire of the one pointer popped, and as it fell over I placed the stop sign like a spike into the ground, its sharpened end piercing through the robot's skull. It was like butter, so plastic instead of metal. Ripping it out of the other side instead of prying off any loot I threw the stake like a javelin piercing the head of a two pointer. Ripping it out again I was moving, pushing a boy out of the way of the machine gun fire of a one pointer.

The bullets were fast, and numerous. It was like trying to dance between raindrops, yet I could. The AI of the actual robot seemed quite stupid, I was able to trick it simply by strafing while running towards it. Piercing through its head I turned, and an aim line crossed my position throwing myself into a front flip off of the robot I sighed. This was too difficult. Giving myself about a 10% boost with my Stockpile I started off, throwing the sign again causing a three pointer to explode. How many was that 3 5 1 1. Grabbing the sign I went on the offensive again.

At the same time I was cloaked in my smoke, leaned against the wall of a warehouse in the shitty part of town. Pistol in my left hand, and my slime sword in the other. Garbed in a black and gold three piece suit, I replaced the normal suit jacket with a trench coat. Enough pockets to hide a small arsenal of weapons.

The sword was in the shape of an English long sword instead of the stereotypical katana. I liked a double sided straight blade more than the single edged curve either way. As a single beam of light pierced the darkness my smile grew. It was always fun. As my employers entered the room I smiled before silently walking behind them and speaking, "Hello"

The one in the center flinched slightly yet the one on the right jumped and spun, his entire body turning a golden sheen. As he threw a punch I reinforced my body with magic and stockpile before slashing. Gold clashed with ebony, and ebony won sending the golden man flying.

The center man just sighed, and yelled, "Get the fuck over here Midas, and next time don't attack the hired muscle. If you could win against him we wouldn't have needed to hire him." as he turned a slight clearly fake smile crossed his face, glancing down into my eyes he spoke, "Thank you for coming, they should be here soon." Spinning back forward he clapped and the man on the left placed a duffle bag onto the table in the center.

Disappearing back into the shadows I lurked. Minutes passed in silence. Then the lights flicked on, and another group walked in. They seemed more dangerous, the man in the center especially. His slight grin sent a shiver down my spine, it was like a drawn blade. As he licked his lips I flung myself into action. The blade of wind aimed to cut the head off of my client clashed with my sword, a flair of magic let me cut through it. Landing I flashed forward blade slashing at his neck.

The man to his right stepped forward and caught my blade. Turning it back to slime I forced it to stab into his hand before reforming my sword, and spinning as my cloud expanded blinding them. Aiming the gun at the third grunt I fired three bullets, yet he dodged them, and drew a knife.

Tongue man flicked another wind blade out, yet I dodged and slammed my fist into his solar plexus, spinning and firing another three bullets into the back of Mr.hand's head. Each bullet seemed to do more damage than the last. He had a force field it seemed, something that could block a single strike well yet couldn't take burst fire. Flinging myself into the air as my employer fired a laser through my smoke, it crashed against the tank's guard.

Kicking off the roof I stabbed my sword into the hand of Tongue man, he gasped in shock and I cut his tongue off. Every time he fired a wind blade he flicked it. I hope it wasn't just a bait. Done with the main opponent I dropped the smoke so it only blocked head level and above as to let my employers actually aim. "Midas" sprinted in, and slammed against the tank as I slashed at the one who could dodge.

Every strike was dodged, combat thinker, I needed a checkmate. Firing a bullet against one of the supports I watched as it ricochet at his back. Dodging to the right I slashed down, aiming so they would both hit nearly simultaneously. I couldn't let him dodge. So I fired a third bullet to the right of his knee so he could only dodge in one direction, forward. Kneeing him in the stomach he flinched and I spun re=aiming the slash as to knock him to the ground. As he landed in a heap I changed the sword into a hammer, and broke his legs.

"My fee" I spoke, voice echoing through the warehouse a dull broken staccato.
