"We aren't deploying for war. We need to send Shi's reincarnation to Cang, that is the goal. And sending him the way he is now won't work out well." I elaborated, feeling the responsibility to clear that misconception.
"Then, if that's the case why are you so eager to break through now?" Fu Xuan asked.
"When I last said I could teleport him that vast distance, it was when my cultivation was far weaker, while also more stable. Now, to transport him all the way there without harming Cang, is for me to stabilize. Something I can only get after breaking through." I answered, as my portal finished. "Worry not, I will return." I said, disappearing through the portal.
"A shame we won't have more time to spend lazing around." Yang Kai said with a half annoyed sigh.
"Can I ask something? Who is this Cang person that Young Master Yang was talking about?" Li Wu Yi asked, curious.
"It's fine if you didn't know. But for the future, read up on the human race's history. Cang is the last living member of the 10 great experts from antiquity. If he is feeling threatened to such a level that he risks sending out a warning message, we shouldn't wait for anything." Yang Kai answered, standing up and stretching. "Now if you'll excuse me, I have to bring my disciples to root out the final stronghold of the Ink Clan that remains in the 3000 Worlds. It'll be good practice for them. Senior Li, bring as many 7th rank elders with you to witness my Son's breakthrough." He added, rubbing his chin.
"What about Great Emperors on their way to the high rank breakthrough?" Li Wu Yi suggested in his response.
"Them too. Make sure all of them go and witness it." Yang Kai answered, then looked at his daughter in-laws. "You all should begin cultivating in seclusion once again. I'll have everything set up for you to receive whatever resources you need. An Alchemist will be available to you at any time…" He continued.
"I… I want to witness my husband's breakthrough." Qing Ning spoke up. "Father, I'm well on my way to the peak of my current realm." She explained.
"Verywell, I'm sure he wouldn't mind having you there… Be careful though, it may cause some jealousy between you." Yang Kai joked with a slight chuckle.
"That's not right father, we will all sense it if sister Qing goes. We all support it." Huo Lei and Xiu Che both said in unison.
"Good, then it's settled. Hua Qing Si, if anything else comes up while Leiji and I are gone…" Yang Kai added, roughly annoyed that this was happening.
"Don't worry, I'll take care of it. You can trust me, dear husband." Hua Qing Si smiled, understanding what Yang Kai was going to say. "I wouldn't dream of holding you back. And once this is all over, I'll even set aside time for Little Leiji to make some more of those miracle pills." She smirked, causing Yang Kai to flinch.
"I see, thank you. I shall return shortly." Yang Kai said before vanishing from sight.
~ Ancestral Land ~
I appeared in the Ancestral Land and cracked my neck. The world here seemingly was able to tell exactly what I wanted to do. I could feel a vague sense of worry from it, the worry was all about the danger that could occur if I do this. It took some time explaining the process as well as alternatives to this process. In the end I was able to get the world to agree to my idea, but by that time, several of the Ancient Spirits had arrived, having responded to my presence.
"Young Master Yang? What are you doing here? Did you come here to help us move?" Kun Ao asked, overly curious but mostly worried about seeing me appear.
"Hmm, to your final question… Yes, but no." I said rubbing my chin, explaining this to him of all the possible spirits here is going to be difficult and annoying. "It's going to be difficult to explain, but I am taking the Demon Sealing land away from here. I have no other choice that wouldn't result in dangers for the young spirits around here. As I am going to use that giant as fuel for my breakthrough to open heaven. If you have any complaints, take it up with the mother world." I continued, opting to not bother explaining the situation.
"That… You're right…" Kun Ao shuddered as he reluctantly was told the same thing by the world. "If this is what she wants, then I should help you in whatever way I can." He said, still with a cold sweat dripping down.
"Then do your utmost to keep any spirits not of High rank Open Heaven equivalent out of the surrounding area. I'll take care of the rest." I explained, a little surprised that a Kun was able to listen well to a Dragon.
While it was a little confusing at first, the remaining Spirits of the Great and Ancient realms worked to keep the area completely off limits as I went to work. And work it definitely was, separating this piece of a world was like performing surgery without anesthetic. And we could all sense the pain that the Ancestral Land was going through with every passing moment.
There were occasionally some of the spirits trying to come into the restricted area as a result. They were of course stopped by the others guarding the area. Which led to some rather serious encounters. Many words were exchanged back and forth. All of them ultimately ended with the Ancestral Land, herself, wrapping the spirits in a comfort to calm them down.
In the end, there were no real issues that resulted due to any of the crazy confrontations. However, it did take a rather long time. I had to be careful with every motion I made to separate the Sealing Demons Land from the Ancestral Land. And once I was done, I spoke so all could hear.
"Worry not, I will return this land once I have purified the dangers within. And once done, the Ancestral Land will be stronger as a result." I said, vanishing with the compressed piece hovering in my hand coming along with me.
