It was at that moment, I slightly regretted showing them this memory. After all, the instinctual feeling I had deep in my bones at the time of this memory, was well… There wasn't any room for anything other than fury. Initially I had thought it was due to my dragon side's influence. However, the scene before me now made that theory absolutely impossible.
The Supreme Elders' faces all twisted in disgust and fury. Some had a cup in their hands. Well, it used to be a cup now. The matter of the material didn't stand a chance of surviving the crushing strength of an Emperor realm, let alone a furious 8th rank open heaven.
It took me some effort to avoid any damage to the star boundary, due to them using their strengths. But I was able to avoid any real damage… After the anger of the Supreme Elders faded, some turned to the ground and vomited. It may seem odd at first, but that was quite the boon for the star boundary. The World Tree's power had an effect on this material, slurping it up nearly instantly. In other words, the vomit never pooled, simply vanished into the ground as if the ground was a hungry black hole.
"You, how old were you when you saw this dreadful sight?" Luo Ting He asked, wiping her mouth with a cloth, and involuntary tears.
"Oh, uhm… hmm, I had yet to become an adult… And that's what I found on my initial investigation. I hadn't been prepared for that sight." I answered, which only seemed to make the situation worse.
"You poor thing… I get that we don't interfere in the actions of those beneath our level… But this is just too much…" Six Wood said, choking slightly.
"It was a terrible sight indeed, but nevertheless it was a problem for the people of the world to deal with. Interfering… Even as much as I had done would generally be considered too much. But because I was born there, I had an excuse to help. Not that I wouldn't have had any difficulty rationalizing my actions even without that excuse." I explained.
"Witnessing a scene like that… I doubt anything else could shake one to their core more than this. It's no wonder your resolve in the face of the Ink Clan's atrocities, is so powerful. Judging from that, I can anticipate that the ones who perpetrated it suffered greatly, am I right?" Azure Land asked, and then proceeded to try anything to clean his pallet.
"Heh, I created several new levels of pain and torment for those people. I'm sure even the King of Hell himself had to take notes. If not then he definitely would have been inspired at the very least." I chuckled with a look on my face that clearly conveyed the utter disgust I had for those Evil Shadow Sect bastards.
"Good, now then…" Azure Land started, sighing in annoyance at the vomit taste still stuck in his mouth.
"No worries," I said, as my wives moved to let me up. "I won't renege on my promise to give out those array formations." I added stretching. "Come line up one by one and we can begin." I instructed.
The 7th ranks, all elders of their respective forces, were quite confused about the situation. But with a wave from their Supreme Elders their misgivings left them and they lined up to begin.
"Uhm, Young Mas… Young Prince, what was it that you showed the Supreme Elders?" The first one in line asked, clearly wanting to know why he saw the pinnacle of strength be set into a daze.
"Don't even bother asking him to show you. Once I've wrapped my head around what I saw, I'll explain it to you in a way that can be more easily digested. I'm half wishing I didn't see that sight. I doubt purging it from my knowledge sea would be enough to forget it… Your wives really are something if they can see that and not go crazy for a few days at least." the 7th rank's Supreme Elder said, shuttering in their chair slightly.
"Yes, well, in any case. Open your small universe, and transfer the million Saint Realm minimum over to me. They won't worry about living conditions as there is already quite a bit of empty room in my Small Realm." I started explaining. "For every million given to me, I'll grant you one array." I added.
"Oh, uhm, yes. I have 100 million people to give you… Is that too ambitious?" The 7th rank asked.
I took a look at their Small Universe. "Hmm, as you are now you can't handle that many of these arrays not without at least one of the columns helping to support you. That's actually not such a bad idea… Hmm, that'll be the next step." I said, pausing in deep thought. "Anyways, you can only realistically support the use of 50 arrays, double that is too much. 100 would quickly cripple you as you are now. There just simply isn't nearly enough generation in your Small Universe to make up the difference required. If you were about 500 years further into the 7th rank… give or take a decade or two, maybe you'd manage." I elaborated.
"Hmm, then let's do 50 for now. That's better than not having them." The 7th rank agreed, knowing that they had over estimated themselves. "Soon though, I'll improve this so I can support the war effort more effectively." They opened a door to their small universe.
I opened a door to my small realm and the transfer began. Transferring 50 million people is not a quick feat. But once it was over I had 50 million more workers and just as I had asked, there was a very nearly 50/50 split, of men & women, among these migrants. Which means I just have to give them a little bit of time and… Oh wow, they are already going at it.
The rest of the 7th ranks, having heard the situation already, had a different starting point each deciding on 50. Most could manage that. Some a few less and others a few more. Overall it turned out to be an average of 50 array's per 7th rank. Setting up so many of them in different worlds, gave me many ideas for improvement that I would try later on…
