Chapter 475 - Elder Hong's Question

After the several awkward looks I got from many different young ladies from our sister forces, the presentation of gifts was over. And it was time for the banquet to begin. Disciples brought out food to serve for everyone in the grand hall, while outside the hall had several servants delivering the first of what would be many dishes.

The point behind this was strictly to make it impossible for one to remain hungry after the meal. Though, there was the added benefit that came with a satisfied hunger, even if none of the attendees would ever have to eat. The benefit being that people are more likely to get a bit more cozy with each other in private, resulting in more procreation. Something the human race and her allies were in desperate need of and now. After the meal was a dance and light jovial discussions among the attendees.

"Ah! I've not eaten that good in… Huh, I can't recall the last time I ate such a hearty meal." Six Wood Divine Monarch said, sitting back and patting his now enlarged belly. "And these dancers…" He continued, his gut returning to normal size. "They are quite different from what I had expected. To think they are…" He mentioned, halting his words when they all made a move of their fingers to their lips. "Oh ho, I see how it is." He chuckled. "You're most wonderful hosts." He praised.

Yang Kai chuckled, having also experienced the same scene. "It's truly an interesting choice. But given what I suspect the reason behind it was… I think he made the right choice here." He explained drinking some wine. "On another matter, Azure Void, Azure Nether, how are your people fairing now?" He asked.

The sudden question surprised the two supreme elders. But they still looked behind them to verify nonetheless. And found their people were sound asleep, the one 7th rank that was Qing Ning's Senior Sister was cuddling…

"Uhm, well, I feel they'll be alright. Though I am curious where my force's disciple got a life sized body pillow of the Young master…" Azure Void's Supreme Elder answered, confused.

"Oh, she told me that she was making something like a body pillow… Didn't realize it was like this though." Elder Hong sighed. "My second disciple is also infatuated with the Young man. Here I thought she wouldn't look at anyone lest they were a woman…" He added, turning to me with a look that said everything but… "What do you think about this matter, Son-in-law?" He asked me directly.

Can't they stop running around my father when it comes to these topics. At this rate, he'll never use up those two chances to force my hand… I sighed and calmly took a sip of my wine, swirling it around calmly.

"Elder Hong, there are many forms affection can take. Parental love is the affection a parent gives to their child. Attachment is both the mutual love shared between parent and child, as well as the love a child has for their parents." I started explaining, albeit in an extremely roundabout way. "Sibling love, is the affection shared between 2 or more brothers, sisters or a mix thereof. Fortunately for me I am lucky in that I do not lack this, thanks to my wives' families, when I married them their families became just as important and integral as that of my own." I continued. "When it comes to love shared between lovers, married couples and even harems… Well, I don't think I need to elaborate on that one one too much. But it's safe to say, few relationships are even remotely similar to that of the love between those in such an arrangement." I continued, pausing for a moment. "Those are the examples of normally accepted affections. Sometimes individuals can blend them together, but that's generally the rule. Now, as for what your 2nd disciple is currently experiencing, it's called hero or idolizing. She was rescued from the pits of utter despair where her life was certainly heading for reincarnation. Only to be rescued in the eleventh hour and bore witness to their savior beating the stuffing out of the enemy with a satisfying ease." I continued.

Elder Hong, had listened to every word, hanging on the explanation. "I see, so you feel that it's just fantasizing. I guess that's fair. I suppose I'd have a similar feeling if I went through a similar situation." He said, putting a hand to his chin.

"Oh, you don't have to think about that for a second. On the battlefield when I rescued… Albeit far more than I should have tried to save at that time, I just couldn't leave any of them to that fate…" I said changing the atmosphere momentarily before Huo Lei placed a hand upon me. "Anyway, of those that I saved, there were several men. Do you know how many of them swear up and down they would never be attracted to another man in all their life?" I asked.

"I'd imagine most of them would, at least before entering that place. After words, get enjoyment in any way you can." Elder Hong said, rather open mindedly.

"Well, I found out after the fact… That many of those men would have loved to be on the receiving end if you catch my meaning. And not a single one of them was attracted to men. Yet all of them had the mindset of actually wanting it from their savior." I sighed. "It's beyond me to know how they managed that line of thinking. I'm not all knowing, unlike some have claimed in the past." I added, with a smirk and a shrug.

"It's true, the ones he rescued, when they found out it was him who did… We had to give them task after task just to keep them busy. Men and Women alike wanted to get real up close and personal. Fortunately though, it wasn't hard to give them work to do all the while recovering their cultivations." Feng Ying explained, with a sigh.

"Oh… So you think there's nothing more to it than that." Elder Hong said, seeming as if he was slightly depressed by that.

"Oh, it's not entirely out of the realm of possibility." Yang Kai mentioned. "Though, I wouldn't be so quick to make a judgment about it. Even those my son rescued that day regained their senses after a few days." He added.

"Then I'll drop the matter for now and allow things to play their natural course." Elder Hong sighed.
