"Is that all Uncle?" I asked, curiously. He clearly had more in store but wasn't using it for some reason. "I know you're not going all out. If you're worried about hurting me, I honestly think I'd be a little insulted about that." I stated, pushing my dragon breath harder.
The clash of two dragon's breaths created an unsteady environment around where they met. The natal Dao of the dragon clan was the Dao of Time. With time and space being equal partners, it was inevitable for such a fluctuation to occur once two time strengths were clashing. However, while there was a clash, it was obviously now one sided as the meeting spot rapidly accelerated towards Yang Xiao.
Try as he might, Yang Xiao couldn't seem to bring out the other bit of his strength. It was odd since I was pretty sure I didn't mistake his level of power. Though it seems like my father, Yang Kai agrees with me. Yang Xiao should be able to equal this level.
"Brother Yang, are you sure that's alright? That attack looks pretty strong." Luo Ting He questioned. Keeping an eye on the spar. "It feels like that attack isn't something a 7th rank can match. Or am I missing something?" She asked again after Yang Kai remained silent, watching.
"Ah! Nephew, I'm at my limit! You win!" Yang Xiao yelled in a panic, hoping the attack would stop. "I mean it, I can't go on, it's gonna hit me!" He yelled in dragon tongue.
"Then use that strength inside you to break free." I replied in dragon tongue.
"I can't. I have nothing left…" Yang Xiao replied back.
"Uncle, if you don't use that power you're hiding now. I will make sure this hits. NOW BREAK FREE!" I explained sternly. "Or are you just too weak to be a parent?" I slid a small challenge towards him but it was also the biggest hint I could give him.
"Son, no more hints from now on if he can't figure it out, just hit him. Better you than I anyways. He might be bedridden if I do it." Yang Kai said, with a heavy sigh, through our link. "Sister Luo, you're right, but only partially. I do not expect you to understand it right now. As you are unable to replicate the feeling." He continued, with a single glance.
"If you were to become like my mother in-law, my sisters, my husband or myself… You'd figure it out at a glance. Hmm, I suppose if you had people living inside your small universe that might work too." Su Yan explained, before looking back at the fight. "I'm truly excited for tomorrow. It will be a great happy day." She added, with a soft tone.
My breath attack kept getting closer and closer to Yang Xiao. He really was running out of steam, however… There was clearly more left. Just, he is unaware of it. However, Yang Xue was watching and after she overheard Su Yan's words her brain kicked into high gear.
"HUSBAND! FIGHT FOR THE THREE OF US!" Yang Xue shouted, then grew as red as Smiles' dress when she realized what she just did. "Oh no, did I just say that?" She murmured, shuffling nervously before her face grew determined and resolute.
"Oh my, I knew something was different about you. Congratulations." A woman said. She was the one who had been after my body and likely my seed as well, earlier. The array master supreme elder lady.
Yang Xiao, hearing that call had a change in him. He felt different. I could tell since the strength he was hiding finally came to the surface. And his dragon's breath grew more intense, stopping the advance of my own.
"I see now… This is what I was lacking. I've been foolish… Thank you, nephew, for helping me access this strength." Yang Xiao said, a little serious and also, thankful. There was a bit of relief mixed in as well.
"Good, now that you understand. We can end this." I said, canceling my dragon breath that very instant. It wasn't nearly the limit of what I was capable of anyway, so it was pathetically easy for me to pull off.
"Ah! Nephew, help I don't have full control over this yet!" Yang Xiao shouted in a panic.
His dragon's breath closed the distance as I reverted to human form and stretched, worry free. I took a look at the breath attack and chuckled a little.
"Not bad Uncle, but sadly this still isn't enough to damage me." I said, and then with the smallest of movements, my eyes glanced around. "As you can see, something of that level is easily disassembled." I continued as everyone watched.
Yang Xiao's dragon's breath vanished, having completely disintegrated. Even the space around the area had been restored. A stable and safe place free of any issues.
"Wow! I knew you were freaky strong, but just how much stronger are you now?" Mo Sha asked, intrigued by the feat he just witnessed.
I turned to him and raised my brow. "Did you not hear me before? There are only two who can actually injure me." I answered. "Now on the battlefield there are several more. But this is definitely my hard limit until I break through to Open Heaven." I added. "I must admit I'm grateful that I have this body a bit earlier than expected. It'll make my open heaven promotion significantly more bearable." I chuckled, flying down towards Yang Kai.
"You did well son. Though I think he is going to need some time to comprehend just how quickly you rendered his attack useless." Yang Kai chuckled, patting me on the shoulder.
"It's all a part of the process, father. I couldn't just let him think he had closed the gap. As I am now, with how my abilities stack against the ink clan… I'm not sure anything but a well established royal lord or higher could do me any real harm now. I might have even been able to deal with that ambush on my own if I played my cards right." I said with a smile. "That said, I'm not going to just overestimate myself like that. When the next chance comes. I'd like to spar with you and Mother Smiles.
"Oh? I think that would be fun, but we shouldn't do it around here. Too much damage could occur." Smiles exclaimed with an enthusiastic answer.
