Just before he, Flowing Time Great Emperor could take the items handed to him, he noticed Yang Xiao and Yang Xue's faces. They each had smiles of gratitude and tears of thankfulness. Then he looked at the other two people in the room, with a smile.
"I hope what I did is alright with you?" Flowing Time Great Emperor asked in a calm tone, unsure of how he should address them in this situation, so he stuck to the tried and true safe method.
Dong Su Zhu and Yang Ying Feng looked at each other and smiled. It was as if they had a conversation with their eyes. Looking back through the gate Yang Ying Feng cleared his throat.
"I must admit, I am thankful. Such a thing has resolved a truly painful issue for us." Yang Ying Feng said, controlling his emotions. "As her father, I'm grateful she need not be put through any more stressful situations such as… Well, I'm sure Ancestor Flowing Time understands without me speaking it." He continued, trembling at the thought of what he would have had to do by his own hand.
Flowing Time Great Emperor noticed this trembling movement and sighed. "Ah, I see. It was that thing… That truly isn't something that one should have to bear. I'm glad I was able to help fix my Disciples problem. Even from beyond the grave…" He said, chuckling nervously towards the end.
"How did…" Dong Su Zhu almost finished asking her stupid question.
"Ahahaha! That's an easy answer. Tell me, would that young man there be putting himself through such pains to talk to the past if I was still alive?" Flowing Time Great Emperor asked.
The room was silent for a moment until Heaven's Order spoke up. "I'm surprised that a dragon would bother mating with a human. But I guess I was right not to assume all spirits are evil. Especially that one there." She said, claiming the conversation back and pointing at me with her eyes.
"Oh that's right, what are these items for? I sense a great deal of power coming from them. Could they be refinement materials for some kind of art?" Flowing Time Great Emperor asked, picking up and inspecting the materials.
"That is 2 sets of 5th rank refinement materials. Using those you'll break through to the Open Heaven realm. And you'll need to… That is if you want to have a chance of defeating that bastard." Heaven's Order explained, grumbling at the thought of the guy.
"Hmm, I thought you said you had weakened him to the point you're around. If that is the case, could I not just force his wounds to remain open forever and have him bleed out? Why do I need this?" Flowing Time Great Emperor asked legitimately curious.
Heaven's Order sighed and then explained. "You're strong, I'll give you that. But you can't defeat him as you are now. Star Boundary won't be able to support you in that place. And furthermore, that bastard Mo Sheng, has likely swallowed the World Spirit of the Universe World he fell into. Even if it was only a Low rank world like this one, he undoubtedly has recovered much of his strength. I don't doubt he's even eating away at the foundation of that world." She started explaining. "The strength you have now is mighty, that's for sure, but against a foe like him. You'll need more power. This is… Unfortunately all I can give you. It's the last I have. And this is the method to use." She explained sending a ball of light to Flowing Time Great Emperor.
"Oh, this method is quite powerful… But I get the feeling it's a bit rough around the edges. It's as if there is a power beyond this realm, perhaps even different paths to progress to." Flowing Time Great Emperor spoke with an inquisitive tone. But it was like he became youthful all of a sudden and then. "Tell me, I won't make in the fight against Mo Sheng, do I?" He asked his disciples.
Yang Xue and Yang Xiao both trembled. Neither of them wanted to be the one to say it. But just before Flowing Time Great Emperor was about to turn to me, a fellow Great Emperor. Yang Xiao made fists and then grit his teeth, it seemed like what had happened before had set his mind straight. No longer blinded by a love he could never pursue.
"Master, you fought valiantly till the end. And while you weren't able to kill the Demon God completely, He was injured beyond compare. Taking thousands of years before he became a threat again." Yang Xiao said in an explosion of emotion, very unlike a dragon.
"He's right, Master! You saved Star Boundary and its people for thousands of years." Yang Xue cried. "And after a long battle here the Great Emperors had come together and fought the Great Demon God Mo Sheng. And victory was had at last." She continued crying.
"Hmm, I see. So my death will mean a great deal." Flowing Time Great Emperor chuckled. "So, how was the fight Temporal Thunder?" He asked, chuckling along the way.
I shook my head calmly and slowly. "I did not not fight in that battle. I was born much later. Even raised in my own father's Small Universe." I said slowly. "However, my father, Void Great Emperor, did fight him. And was easily one of the key factors for winning the battle." I explained.
"Hmm, so then… In that case. Who are you to these people? You seem close." Flowing Time Great Emperor asked.
"I am your disciples, Nephew. And the Grandson of my Grandparents over there." I answered.
"Oh ho, So you must be the son of Void then. You have a legacy to live up to. Ahahaha, though, with your strength… I doubt you'll have any issue making that name of yours known far and wide." Flowing Time Great Emperor smiled. "And to you my disciples… Take care of yourselves. And your family." He continued. Then looked towards Yang Ying Feng and nodded, as that was all that needed to be done to convey everything that needed to be. "You can go ahead and relax now Temporal Thunder. You've done so much already. Any more and you'll suffer too much. Good luck in all your future battles." He said, as my gate slowly disappeared. The two downed their tea and chucked the cups back to the future. To keep things stable.
