"Mother, Father, perhaps we should wait until other matters are resolved first." I said, gently scratching my cheek nervously.
"Go ahead, what is it you want to request?" Yang Kai said, ignoring me.
"Yes, I have a daughter just around the Young Master's age. It was him who saved not only my life but hers and my people's lives as well. Defending the entire Territory even in the face of such a great evil. I would be honored if he would take my daughter's hand." Thunderclap Hall's Hall Master Lei said, stating his reasons and request.
"Hahaha! You hear that son. Looks like you're going to be getting a bit busier." Yang Kai laughed, giving me a look, "What do you think".
"Sorry, but right now. The most I'll allow is to consider it." Su Yan said, adamantly.
"Oh, I see. Then there must be something missing. Forgive me for such a presumptuous request." Thunderclap Hall's Hall Master Lei said, with a retreating yet curious tone of voice.
"There is indeed something missing. More than one thing at that." I said, with a sigh. "Since you've bothered to be so forward, I'll respect that and tell you one thing. Each of my wives are bold. None of my wives had married me this way. Each of them outright declared their own hearts and minds. Then the parents agreed. I will only think about them if there is a true spark there." I explained. "My wives must be bold enough to declare their own feelings. Because I will not hide my relationship behind doors. Some may call it shameless, I call it the truest expression of feeling. If you can't declare such things in public, you don't deserve to be together." I added.
Thunderclap Hall's Hall Master Lei, looked stunned by my words as if he had just received some kind of revelation.
"Such a powerful declaration. Then… I'll allow her the chance to be bold. Not that will be a problem if given the time. So instead, please allow my daughter time to stay as a guest in High Heaven Palace." Thunderclap Hall's Hall Master Lei said, speaking with a tone indicating that he won't back up further without a fight.
"Very well, I can allow such opportunities to have a chance of occurring. But, I know this now. It must come from their own heart. Not the heart or mind of anyone else." I said, with a tone indicating I was serious about this.
"Hahaha, maybe I should send some disciples over as well to see how well they do in earning your affection?" Six Wood Divine Monarch chuckled.
"I'd prefer to have everyone find love of their own. Rather than everyone pursuing one end only to leave many disappointed." I said.
"You know, I could just force you this time." Yang Kai smirked. "I still get to do this twice, don't forget." He added, ruffling my hair and laughing a bit.
"Father, you good and well, just as much as I, that the women you've married, long held a place in your heart. You can use those if you like. But try to use them sparingly." I said with a sigh.
"Oh don't worry, I will. I'll keep an eye on those that seem attracted to you. And then I'll make my determination." Yang Kai said, with a smile and a wink.
"Fine, let's head home. I could use some tasty food. I got three palates to reset. Two of which are desperately crying out for it." I chuckled.
"Yeah, that Ink Force is disgusting, but… The taste is so, so much worse." Yang Kai said.
"Hmm, you ate the Ink Force?" Mo Sha Divine Monarch asked, raising a brow.
"Uh? How do you think a Dragon fights?" Yang Kai asked, using a tone as if to say "Really".
"With their body, claws and fangs?" Mo Sha answered.
"Okay, yeah, you really must be slow when it comes to these things. Where are the fangs located?" Yang Kai sighed.
"Uh, the mouth… Oh, I see…" Mo Sha Divine Monarch said, shrinking a little at the realization of his own stupidity.
"Seriously, is this an act or? Cause it's hard to stay mad at someone so blind to basic logic. Then again, maybe you just can't comprehend the taste. Perhaps I should feed you some of it just so you know how absolutely Vile it is." I said, with a sigh and a glare.
"No, no need. I've eaten rotten bread before…" Mo Sha said, shaking his hands.
"Not even remotely as bad. That would be like fine dining by comparison. You better prepare a meal worthy of an apology. But I'll rescind my order back home in the hopes you are forthcoming." I said. "Don't let my trust fade." I chuckled.
"Now then, let us head home. I'm sure the Palace is worried about the situation. I wonder what will happen as a result of this battle." Yang Kai said, turning the ship around.
""Hey! Don't forget us alright! You owe us good food for a year!"" The Twins called out.
"I won't forget." Yang Kai smiled, back at them. Then he looked at Ruo Xi. "Are you coming? Take a break and come home with your family." He said.
"You mean…" Ruo Xi murmured with a tear forming.
"That's right, sister Ruo Xi." Su Yan smiled.
"You should go for a little bit. My sister and I will be training a bit more dangerously for a while. To get some real improvement." Sun's Burning Shine said.
"Hehe, I'll come back to play with you again soon." Ruo Xi giggled with happy tears.
"Oh, you should wait to come back for at least ten years. We're going to need that time to really let loose." Moon's Nether Glimmer said with a smile.
"Then I'll see you after that time. And bring with me as much food as you want." Rup Xi said. "Be good while I'm gone." She added before flying back down to the ship.
Daybreak left the Chaotic Dead Territory meeting up with the other ships that decided best, not to appear as well. And instinctually, Yang Kai and I used quite a bit of power to seal up the gate to help stop any of the twins' energy from leaking out.
