Chapter 389 - Thunderclap Hall Great Territory (4)

"You really must be stupid. That only happens once an arrangement has been made. This gift is to allow us to see the First Mistress of High Heaven Palace. Potentially even get a chance to have an audience with their Palace Master." Thunderclap Hall's second mistress grumbled annoyed.

"Mistresses, please calm your anger, my junior here is new to the ways of requesting such things." Another Guard pleaded.

"Hmph, fine. Let him not make such stupid comments again. I haven't even seen this Young Master that they spoke of and now my Husband orders me to go speak about a potential marriage that involves my beloved daughter. That young man best be the single most impressive man the 3000 Worlds over." Thunderclap Hall's first Mistress said venting her frustration. "Smelly men, don't know what it's like to have such a hard time conceiving and bearing children. Only to have them taken from us." She continued venting.

"Sister, I'm sure that Husband wouldn't order something like this without considering the reasons. Remember what the Supreme Elder had mentioned when talking with Husband… That Young Man made the Supreme Elder feel small." Thunderclap Hall's second mistress said, holding the first mistress's hand, warm and tenderly.

"Still, I didn't see him. I only want the best for my daughter. Is that so bad!" Thunderclap Hall's First Mistress grumbled. "It's dangerous enough to go to the place where that freakish man Yang Kai resides. He completely destroyed multiple 2nd Class forces, and now he is undoubtedly stronger. One wrong move and a marriage would become a pipe dream." She added, finally revealing her nerve.

Once the First Mistress of Thunderclap Hall finished her short speech, the ship they were on fell

silent. Even a pin drop would sound out louder than the loudest of lightning strikes. And then an audible gulp was heard. It was a nearly uniform one. And then the ship was forced to a halt by the one in charge of moving it.

"Mistress! There is a figure over there! It seems to be a young man!" The ship pilot reported.

"What? Where?" The First Mistress asked.

"Over there! Out, port side!" The ship pilot pointed.

"Are you stupid? There is no one there!" The First Mistress yelled, annoyed.

"Huh, he vanished?" The ship pilot muttered once he saw the figure was no longer there.

"Sigh, you know it's a bit rude to be so noisy when others are concentrating. But humor me, what is all this fuss about? Didn't your Supreme Elder inform you that he gave me a bit of freedom to act here in this domain?" I said, appearing just in front of the Bow of their ship, analyzing the situation. Good, not a threat then.

"Are you the Young Master that my daughter became smitten with recently?" Thunderclap Hall's First Mistress asked, half in awe and half in fear.

"Uh… That's difficult to answer as I'm not sure what this daughter of yours is thinking, but… Women tend to pursue a powerful partner. So perhaps I am this, Young Master, that your daughter is smitten with… Though I can't say as if I feel the same. I love my wives and no other woman. There is not enough time for me to spend my love on other women. Though, once my wife, this will change. Family is important, arguably the most important." I explained with a sigh. "Now then, can you tell me why you've come this way? I now have to start over with that thing over there. And it was quite tricky." I asked.

"Hmm, so you're saying you'll love a woman if they become your wife? But, not before?" Thunderclap Hall's second Mistress asked, almost instinctively.

"Indeed, for there will only ever be one woman in all the worlds who will have had my love prior to official marriage. That is something I will never take from her in this life. On that same note, I know that husbands must love their wives and vice versa. I also know that I am rather sought out as of now. If someone can manage to convince my Mother and my wives, then it is possible to become my wife. Though… Make sure you answer all my wives' questions thoroughly… Some may be a bit improper. But I can assure you that if the wrong answer is said, your daughter will not be able to handle things. So please be mindful of that." I answered with a clear explanation.

"You speak as if we are going to ask about this." Thunderclap Hall's second Mistress said, in a timid voice trying her best to not seem a bit more upbeat.

"Oh? That's because it's written all over your face. The relief you felt as I spoke was plain as day. And as fast as Lightning. I'd have to be blind and stupid to not understand. And given the direction you're headed… The only force that way, that would require you to bring gifts to visit is, well, my home. Putting things together like this is only a minor part of cultivation. The inability of one to do this is why most people will never reach the high rank open heaven realm. And even then…" I explained with a pointing gesture. "Some of those fools think they are the top of the world and can dare to call me a little brat. I refuse to accept that. Not when I was quite literally forged on the battlefield." I grumbled.

"I see, then what is it you're doing over in that cloudy area of the Void." The Ship Pilot asked.

"Hmm, you can see that cloud? Damn, it's a shame you followed the wrong Dao. If you had followed the Thunder and Lightning Dao… You'd be about 2 or 3 times stronger than you are now. Such a shame. But I'll tell you, as a reward for seeing something like that. I am here to collect some Transparent Soaring Cloud. I find it to be quite suitable for me. Now then I'll be off. Just remember, don't interrupt me a second time. Or you can forget about asking about such things with my family in the future." I said, vanishing without the slightest trace.

"Everyone, turn around… We need to pick up more gifts to bring. What we brought will only be an insult…" The First Mistress said in a trembly gasp.
