~~Inside the Lightning Sphere~~
"What the hell is this! I can't move at all!" A low rank Ink Clan yelled out in shock.
"Welcome to my domain, a trap for my enemies and safe heaven for my allies. A trap of sorts from your perspective I guess. Anyways, your entire force's life or death is now how I see fit. So sit tight and wait for death. Don't worry about getting out of here alive because it won't happen. Just be sure to tell the King of Hell who delivered your souls to him… If you'll even have enough mindfulness to do so. Then again… I'm sure the King of Hell probably knows my mark by now." I said, appearing as a piercing bolt of lightning.
"What happened! I can't turn around! Brother…" the one nearest to the first called out.
I slowly sent the corpse of the ink clan I had just killed, forward into the view of the one that just called out.
"AHHH YOU MONSTER! You killed him!" Another ink clan yelled in freight.
"Ahahaha, that's rich coming from an incarnation of evil like yourself. Bad if you think I'm bad now… kekeke… You're going to really hate me soon. After all, I'm just warming up!" I said becoming a bolt of lightning again.
As I flew through the void I pierced the bodies of the ink clan right through. Leaving behind a giant hole they were unable to resolve. It was quite a good use of the dao. Domineering and piercing. Like the spear that I wield.
"This brat really thinks he can get away with this! Not if I can help it!" A weaker high rank yelled burning his strength to move and make his way towards me.
"Awe you shouldn't have! You really don't understand anything do you? Once you're ensnared in my Lightning Sphere… You're already… dead." I said with a cold death stare.
Turning to lightning again the Ink Clan's hearts sank knowing that they might be next. Each frantically attempting to wriggle free. Though this time it wasn't going to matter. I hit the high rank dead center in the gut. A loud rumble carried throughout the Lightning Sphere The shockwave from the impact alone was enough to kill some of the Ink Clan. The high rank on the other hand managed to let something out…
"H… ho… how…" It said as it was sent flying to the outer edge of the Sphere. Disappearing on contact.
"AHHH! How are we supposed to win against such a monster?!" Another high rank screamed in fear. "Argh… what!" It said looking down to see a blade having pierced its chest.
I appeared behind that high rank, with a smirk on my face and spear in hand. "My Spear has been aching to taste the enemy's blood for a while now. You wouldn't mind satisfying its thirst would you?" I said, removing the spear and doing something else as well. Though it was too fast for it to see.
"What did you do? I'll kill you!" The high rank yelled in rage surging his strength. And then… exploding apart into tiny pieces.
"A fitting death indeed." I smiled… "Fireworks are just so therapeutic don't you think?" I asked another high rank that I appeared next too. This was the last one in the group.
"Yes! It was beautiful. Please spare me great sir. I'll leave and never return, I swear!" The high rank begged, crying and pissing itself in fear.
"Oh we can't have that happen, now can we? You said the fireworks were beautiful. So then… Allow me to make you the same." I chuckled. Placing a hand on his back completely restricting its movements.
"Wa wa wait!!! I don't wanna die like this! I wanted to become a…" The Ink Clan cried out frantically.
"Firework?" I queried.
"Yes! A r… wait what did you say… shit…" The high rank cried.
"Good! Then I'll be giving you something you want. Have a good trip down to hell!" I laughed.
I then sent a massive amount of Dao strength into the Ink Clan. It was unable to resolve it. Then I sent it flying towards a bunch of other low ranks. *BOOM* *CRACKLE* "Ahhh!" The Ink clan in the area screamed as they died.
"A god of death! He is a god of death!" The other ink clan cried out.
"Call the Feudal lord! Only he can deal with him for certain!" One cried out begging the others to act. "He is approaching me! I'm scared! SIR FEUDAL LORD PLEASE HELP ME!" He screamed out, crying like a little girl that lost her toy to some bullies.
"Oh now? You can't leave. It's just a shame I won't get to kill you with my spear. If you haven't noticed by now… I'll say it… You're my grindstone to grow. And now that I've got everything from you I can, it's time to… Split." I said, snapping my fingers.
Time and space became distorted, ripping the Ink Clan apart. Their body parts were strewn across the area of my Lightning Sphere. I breathed in and exhaled. Instantly refining the pieces in a way that would ensure utter torment when they reached hell.
"You know, young master, you are a scary man to have as an enemy. I love it! You're using the dao for the right purpose! Absolute domination. Though I'm not sure the souls of those you refined in this manner are even getting more tortured in hell as a result." Fang Qing said, giggling.
"Whether it does or does not matters little in the end. It makes me feel like I managed to extract justice from them even in death. Even though they are the enemy they should be given a chance to redeem. Even if it is only after they have departed to hell." I replied with a thought as I landed back on Daybreak.
"Martial Nephew is quite good! That ability at the end was amazing!" Shen Ao cheered.
"I quite liked the fireworks display. A shame there was no grand finale." Ning Qi Zhi said.
"Why would I do a grand finale now? Save that for at the very least the end of our campaign." I chuckled.
