Same situation. Even tho, im avoiding them. My place right now is not in modern world. Its a novel and im the villain in this novel. But how come it turns to be like this.

Nannette Blair Betchtel. The only youngest daughter of Marquess Ethan Dianel Betchtel and Marchioness Namielle Yume Hirsch Betchtel. On the both side of the House of Betchtel and House of Hirsch. Nannette is the only girl in the lineage in the current era.
She's the dearest of them, especially the maternal and paternal side of their family. Because having a girl in the both families is a difficult maternity. When her mother carrying her many trials and tribulations segments in her life. There are times that her mother will encounter a bad omen while taking a walk, and the marquess was jump out to the palace , i mean panicking because his wife was having a difficulties and also the news came to him.
He immediately asked permission to their highness, The King. To take a look to his wife and child-that-was-not-born-yet, and gladly his highness agreed too.
By the marquess arrive at the place his uneasiness was washed away when he saw his wife sleeping peacefully.
Having a girl on the both side of the family is not a curse or what. It's just a natural phenomenon that while carrying a child on the woman's body is surely, a difficult.
As the time goes by, Nannette was living a comfortably life. But there's a problem.
Her Attitude
It's because that she's so spoiled on the both family, the way she treat anybody is her plebeian creature. A peasant. Except to those she knew.
Sometimes when there is a thing, place or what that she attract to it or she like and wants it. She immediately tell her rant to her family since she was spoiled by them.
What she wants, she gets. But we'll know that everything has a limit.
And that is Nannette's limit is to fall in love to someone who has already had a lover.
And that person is non-other than the son of The King and Queen of Brohagen. Cyrus Keagan Galdur.
"Nannette Blair Betchtel. Im warning you, stop being a delusional. Stop chasing me." His hurtful words.
As the time past by, Nannette still chasing him until that scene...
"I know you would do this! You're such a Ill-mannered person!" His hurtle retort.
" I-I didn't do anything!--" She yelp by his responses
" Don't be ridiculous. Someone saw you pushed her down the stairs! and this bruises on her skin and the shoulder fracture! This are the evidence of your spontaneous wickedness!" He roar while holding the girl in his arms
Nannette felt embarrassed by the moment he claim that she was the one who pushed her.
I know that it's not true. Nannette was so uncertain at that moment.
" Since you're such an impudent in this kingdom. I, Cyrus Keagan Galdur, Son of King and Queen in this kingdom. I proclaim, Nannette Blair Betchtel will be no longer my fiancee. And Kristine Nowen will be my betrothed."
An audible gasp when round the hall as the prince announced that his engagement to Nannette was change by the person whom his arms.
Nannette was so in pain that she didn't know that she's run away from the hall.
Like someone is chasing her.
Crying. Running out of nowhere.
Until she find out she's at the cliff. She looked down, the splashing waves from the sea.
What did i do, Goddess? What did i do wrong in this lifetime? I did all a have to do.
Why??
She continuing crying but didn't realize that her own body make an undecided moves. It starting to walk at the edge of the cliff.
" Nannette!" Someone called her name.
But its too late. Her body was falling to the big waves.
Nannette silently praying.
Hoping for my next life. I wont be let it end like this.
The witnesses at that moment was shocked. No one moves a single bit.
A peaceful night but a dreadful.
