There was nobody they could contact besides a couple of friends who had been brought over to the house occasionally but even that made them realize how little they actively participated in the life of their son.
All that they had was their memories of past meetings that let them remember some names so that they could use their resources to be able to contact them.
The major problem came later when they finally did get in touch with some of them.

Those from the Rose Street Gang were never brought over to his home or introduced to his parents so only those unrelated to them were known to his parents.
That meant that none among them knew too much about the kind of things he got up to in secret.
