(Flora's POV)
Leo's check makes my heart pound.
I didn't expect that he doesn't get angry after being rejected and even offers an olive branch.
Can I accept it?
I can't.
I shred the blank check and throw it into a dustbin.
My only relief is that he didn't investigate me during the past half month.
Otherwise he should have known that Daisy and Flora are the same person.
I don't want to go back to George and Haden.
But I don't even want to see Leo again.
Distraught, I hurriedly enter the toilet and hide in the innermost cubicle, thinking what the hell I should do.
I hear a strange man's voice.
"Is your medicine ready?"
I realize I was so panicked that I went into the men's room.
Embarrassed, I quickly cover my mouth and nose so they won't hear my breathing.
In the silence, their voices become clearer.
"Of course. A small bite is enough for an elephant," another man replies.
