~Elise's POV~
"Thanks for driving me, Matthew," Elise said as she stepped out of the car at Brian's apartment building.
"Would you like me to walk you upstairs, Miss Dixion?" Matthew asked.
"No. I think I can ride an elevator alone but thank you."
Matthew nodded "of course. Get a good night's sleep, ma'am. Detective Harper's orders remember."
Elise smiled softly nodding. She entered the building, greeting the doorman with a polite smile. She never felt so out of place as she did walking through this lobby. It had helped when Brian was walking beside her, but walking alone... At least it was never a long wait for an elevator.
