The night at the Velvet Opera was filled with splendid performances. The actors on stage delivered their roles flawlessly, and the audience watched in delight.

The plot unfolded dramatically, with the female lead meeting her demise at the hands of the male lead, a story that intrigued the spectators.

However, not everyone in the opera house was captivated by the performance. Mabel, resting in her seat, had dozed off during the play.

Perhaps the storyline didn't quite resonate with a child, or it could have been the late hour. Her father, Duke Caius, also found the opera dull and yawned repeatedly, regretting his decision to bring Mabel to such a late-night performance.

Mabel seemed uninterested in the play itself but was enamored with the opera singers. During their previous visit, she had been captivated by the singers' voices and expressed a desire to meet them. Now, she was an A-list guest at the opera, and her father indulged her.
