Chapter 47 - Nine Emotions, Weapon Body (2)

Once his emotions had come full circle, as his curiosity returned to joy, Adrian spoke up, "After connecting to every core emotion, you then have two options. First is combining them, feeling everything all at once, or the second option which is nullifying your emotions, completely becoming nothing more than an empty vessel for your next action."

"Once you have chosen your path, feel your body and create a breathing-move set pattern to follow. I, myself, will be using the first option to amplify every action I take, but there are also valid perks to option two."

Having explained his next step, Adrian quickly demonstrated as not to lose his momentum.

Adrian wanted to use God's breath, however, he chose to withstand such urges, as he still wasn't sure if it was the mana in the air or the upgrade to Mythos that caused his… "accident."

Before starting the breathing pattern, Adrian expelled all the super-heated air from his lungs filling the cavern in a plum of white steam.

Once his breath was gone his connection points (blood mist, Mythos, and physical time) retracted impaling his body causing immense pain.

This reaction caused Adrian to sharply take a deep breath as he was flung into the air, but he quickly twisted his body allowing him to land on his feet connecting to his next move.

The entirety of his senses were purposely sealed leaving only his intuition and memory to navigate the cave as he moved.

As he landed the sharp breath in his lungs was instantly exhaled adding to the dense superheated cloud of steam that further dulled his senses.

Once his breath was released the blood tendrils that had impaled him burrowed deep into his skin causing his body to take on a deep crimson hue.

After feeling this occur Adrian spun his body into a flying back kick shattering the steam and air in his path as he sucked in a cool breath using the minimal power of God's breath forcing the temperature in the caver to drop multiple degrees.

Before Adrian could even land the once steam-filled cavern was suddenly doused in ice-cold rain as the once superheated steam now became simple water.

Holding his breath, he landed in the ice-cold water before launching himself forward as if stepping on the water, Adrian easily pivoted into the simple yet elegant movements that make up Tai Chi.

Without exhaling, it seemed as if Adrian commanded the water on the ground with his every move as even the slightest twitch of his movement caused the water to fly into the air and mold to his will.

Quickly following his last stance using Tai Chi, Adrian switched to using Baguazhang allowing for smooth and flowing movements that in his use could cut and manipulate the air around him.

The process of using these Chinese martial arts back to back for close to 15 minutes without breathing caused Adrian's movements to slow as his brain screamed for oxygen even if he didn't need it.

After just barely finishing a full cycle of basic Baguazhang movements Adrian breathed in his first breath in a quarter-hour.

Once he exhaled Adrian forced his body to the ground drenching himself in the ice-cold water on the floor as the crimson color faded from his skin allowing the safer mist-like form of his Bloodline to invade his body causing it to turn a hazy purple color.

After this change occurred Adrian jumped up as his muscles, drenched in water, making them look even more defined bathed under the silvery light of the moon expanding as he took a deep breath in.

Fully immersed in his current actions Adrian completely forgot his explanation of why he chose those specific martial arts, or if they need to be done in a specific order, or anything.

While holding his breath, Adrian strung his push-up off the ground into a backflip into a strong Northern Shaolin stance.

What followed looked, to those unaffiliated with this style, was a flurry of fists, palms, kicks, and evenly paced footwork, however, once you looked closely you would understand that each and every move step the foundation to flow into the next.

Each move like the ones before seemed to conjure some element in this case it seemed to light the air ablaze as his movements caused so much friction with the air it combusted.

Unlike the other martial arts Adrian used before the fire created during his practice of this particular art caused his brain to crave oxygen much more than before.

Under the influence of his current Mythos Body, Adrian became enthralled by the flames losing himself for close to ten minutes as he completed multiple cycles of movements without noticing.

Once his mind cleared his breath was forcefully expelled and the Mythos mist assimilated back into his body, before taking another deep breath.

In doing so Adrian was completely exposed when the manifestation of time, which had impaled him like broken glass, forced its way into his body making his body temporarily attune to time.

His brain and body both processed and reacted hundreds of times each second forcing his mind out of 'combined/assimilated emotion' and into 'nullified emotion.'

This one change in mindset caused his once-deep breaths, and the emotional and practiced movements, into rapid breaths and skillful and calculated movements.

From the disciplined actions of Chinese martial arts that had many set forms that could easily channel each of his emotions, into a set of dance-like movements that looked reminiscent of Capoeira, a Brazilian martial art that combines dance, acrobatics, music, and spirituality into an effective art.

Unlike Capoeira, Adrian's movements followed the rhythmic hum of time and the melody that his body created from each movement culminating in an unpredictable, fast-paced, and calculated dance.

However, unlike before none of his movements caused any physical changes to appear, but the longer he continued his dance the more things seemed to form around him.

After only five minutes his footwork seemed to conjure flowing snakes that skillfully glided across the ground and could strike with lethal efficiency.

Seven minutes in, nine dragons seemed to form behind his figure as his fist struck forth.

Once ten minutes elapsed his body appeared as a hazy purple giant that could swallow rivers and mountains.

Even this mythical scene soon came to an end as the glow of time across his body seemed to fade away allowing his suppressed emotions to gush forth into the final form of the weapon body.

His dance started to perfectly incorporate traditional martial movements, new age techniques, and rhythmic footwork into a melding pot of emotion and logic that summoned a grade visage.

Once you look upon his form your mind and soul would be forced into witnessing the birth of an unbelievable entity even for those who watched from Nexus and the Multiversal Battlefield.

Once pulled in, the sight of a primordial world formed as gigantic volcanoes erupted, raging hurricanes, torrential tsunamis, and quaking earth shaped the land.

Deep in the heart of these disasters lay a primordial purple giant surrounded by nine dragons, each showing a different emotion, each helping to form this grand world at the giant's command.

When looking closely at the giant it's height was more than enough to swallow mountains and rivers, its body stronger than any weapon, its calm expression more tranquil than even heaven's gates.

However, before anyone could peer further the giant's eyes fluttered open as it released an aura of suppression that forced even the most powerful of viewers out of its realm.

Once their vision returned they were greeted by Adrian seemingly staring directly into where they had been watching him from.
