In an instant, Adrian's authority was disrupted by the mimic of God's Breath laced within the Shadow's roar.
It only took two seconds to land and rebalance, but in that time the shadow had thrown its spear directly at Adrian's head.
Throwing something ten feet might not seem like much, but when that thing was under the force of 25,000 times gravity it became an ungodly feat.
Just as the mimicking of the authority of time lessened gravity's effect on the Shadow's main body, so too did it lessen the effects of its spear.
As the spear left the Shadow's hands it ripped through air and energy clouds at many times the speed of sound igniting the air and spear in an infernal white flame that could incinerate anything in its path.
Without even a second to react the spear pierced Adrian's skull exploding it in a shower of blood and gore that instantly caught flame burning not only his physical body but his mind as well.
Luckily the flames were only a cheap imitation of the true Infernal Flames Lineage, or Adrian wouldn't even have a soul left to reform his body later.
For a split second, Adrian swore his mind had entered the temple once more as he heard Dee and Zero's concerned voices call out to him.
And without mana nor oxygen as fuel, the raging inferno smothered itself after having burned close to a mile already.
Squelching could be heard as millions of blood tendrils swarmed together from the edge of Adrian's blood mist to reform his body.
Horror flashed across the Shadow's face as the sound of cracking bones and tearing flesh filled the area, shattering the Shadow's hopes that it had killed that murderer that looked like him.
After being baked inside his armor by his own attack the Shadow roared, charging down the mass of flesh that was quickly forming before his eyes.
However, Adrian's endurance efficiency's ability to reform his body was far faster than even the spear that had shattered and incinerated Adrian's main body, to begin with.
Time was a tricky thing for these two entities, as they could seemingly stretch a second into eternity, yet they always seemed to be too slow to react when they needed to.
Adrian's body reformed thanks to endurance, but it would still take wisdom a few seconds to repair his mind.
In those few seconds, the Shadow disperse its armor, concentrating the full force of its blood mist into a blade in hopes to finally put an end to Adrian.
In a moment of lucidity, Adrian used the few blood tendrils that still lingered in the air as chains to lock the Shadow in a grapple.
When the Shadow's inky blood mist blade was impaled into Adrian's torso a torrent of air was quickly absorbed into Adrian's body using his true God's breath ability.
The blood mist of the blade followed suit and after a short struggle so too did the shadow.
Having mapped out his entire body Adrian used every pore and opening in his body when he activated God's breath to completely secure victory.
Of course like all Mythos abilities when used alone a price had to be paid.
Everything he had just inhaled into his body became pure energy filling his body, expanding to a point that a normal body would explode.
Luckily with the addition of his new Okutair flesh, he was just barely able to contain the energy forcing the energy to circulate in his body to strengthen his body and abilities.
Once again Adrian experienced a 'cleansing' as hundreds of impurities and tar boiled out from under his skin forced out by the chaotic energy that rampaged inside his body.
It was only after his body was covered in filth, and the energy in his body was completely absorbed becoming his power, that the Nexus Message Board lit up and his contact with Sakura was restored.
Nexus directly sent the messages to his mind so even with the loss of his vision the group of psychopaths could always comment on his actions.

Ignoring the messages from Nexus Adrian hastily called out to Sakura through their limited connection.

In Sakura's mental realm…
Sakura's light was incredibly dim compared to her normally bright and bubbly form.
Demonic voices that belonged to her inner demons suppressed her normally hopeful and playful nature replacing them with self-doubt and isolationism.
Each voice sounded like her, but none of them contained the love she held dear, only the fear deep in her heart.
Having developed abandonment issues Sakura's isolation and disconnection from Adrian fueled the negative thoughts that tried to consume her.
Unbeknownst to her or Adrian they had both developed a co-dependence on the other however in her case without the ability to interact with anyone other than Adrian her mindset became many times worse.
During the two days of disconnection Sakura barely held onto her hope by remembering what Adrian had promised her, 'He would never leave her alone. And if he did he would battle through any god, buddha, or devil that tried to stop him from returning to her.'
Just as even that reassurance started to slip from her grasp a familiar panic-stricken voice sounded from the void as her screen reconnected to a third-person view of Adrian.
The panic-stricken tone of the speaker didn't suit his deep soothing voice as he hastily called out, "Sakura! Sakura! Can you hear me?"
Startled Sakura remained silent as her glow slowly blossomed back into her normal colors and the voices of doubt and hate dissipated like the wind.
Not hearing a response Adrian's nervous voice quickly started to ramble, "I didn't break the connection by choice. Zero, who is technically me, did that. Man this sounds stupid."
Dumbfounded Sakura wanted to slap herself for ever doubting this stupid pure boy that she loved uncontrollably for some reason.
Adrian was way too innocent when it came to relationships to ever abandon anyone especially when they had their type of relationship.
Embarrassment and self-pity were the only things left over from the voices however this time they were her own thoughts.
Sakura's embarrassed voice softly muttered, ~I-I'm here… Do you have a moment?~
Adrian's face lit up like a Christmas tree as he heard Sakura's voice like an idiot.
As if nothing had happened Adrian responded with zeal and enthusiasm, "Absolutely! I always have time for you!"
Sakura's soft voice sounded, ~Well…~
