Inspector Ivy sat across from Gina in the dimly lit room, her steady gaze conveyed understanding as Gina spoke.
"I appreciate your cooperation, Gina. We're doing everything we can to find Jade." The inspector said.
With sadness in her eyes, Gina responded "I know, Inspector. Jade is my best friend, and it's so unlike her not to come home. My parents were devastated when they got a call from the mayor this early morning."
Inspector Ivy said with compassion "I can only imagine how tough this must be for everyone. Please, tell me about the night of the Valentine's party. What happened?"
Gina's voice trembled as she recounted the events of that fateful Valentine's night. "It started as a great evening. We were all having fun, dancing, you know, typical teenage stuff…"
"Was there anybody present in the gathering that is not from your school?" Inspector Ivy asked in curiosity.
