She saw it plainly as she was lifting her teacup to her lips.
"What about your friend here, can he formally introduce himself?" Chen Ming Zhu inquired.
"Oh! He is the president of Jiā Lì videos, I specifically invited him here because he was preparing to act out a drama as the main lead and needs a female lead." Liu Meng Yao replied.
"Then I guess that's the main reason you are asking me here?" Chen Ming Zhu replied while smiling.
"Okay!"
.........
Chen Yu Ming ran into her bedroom.
Without switching on the lights she walked towards her balcony.
She felt unhappy for a certain reason that she was not aware of.
She stepped out on to the balcony. The night was glorious and still.
The full moon and a splendid galaxy of stars made the sky look transcendently bright and beautiful.
Suddenly, she saw a shadow figure, down below.
A young lady was down there, using her mobile phone just beneath the balcony.
Chen Yu Ming leaned over the chiffon curtains and peered closer.
The young lady looked up at Chen Ming Zhu.
As the moonlight revealed her more plainly Chen Yu Ming recognised the pale, beautiful, camomile pink lipstick on her lips which was Yang Zhi Peng favourite colour.
Suddenly Chen Yu Ming felt a curious warmth and relief.
She called down to her breathlessly.
"Yang Zhi Peng!"
Obviously, she was unable to make herself heard, so she just waved a hand at her friend, then turned to walk away.
She supposed she was taking a stroll on that enchanting night.
But Chen Yu Ming called her back.
"Hst! - Yang Zhi Peng - don't go." She felt reckless.
She did not care whether Yang Zhi Peng heard or disapproved.
" wait minute, Yang Zhi Peng, I've got something to tell you!"
The next moment, Chen Yu Ming ran quickly down the stairs and let herself out of the front door.
"Hi!" She shouted as she waved at her friend who was just metres away from her.
Chen Yu Ming fastned her pace and finally caught up with Yang Zhi Peng who had just got in her car.
Chen Yu Ming followed her friend to her house as they chatted in the car.
Yang Zhi Peng pushed opem the doors to her apartment and allowed Chen Yu Ming to pass in. She switched on the one light.
She saw the remains of a takeaway supper still on the modern round table dining which was next to the white and pink kitchenette.
The longue room was separated from the kitchenette by a small staircase which made the kitchenette on a higher ground.
There was an unconventional living room hanging lamp which was hanging from the white ceiling.
Yang Zhi Peng herself had not yet confessed to her friend that she was using her as a fool to earn money through tricking her to dislike her sister.
She still felt that what she was doing was not legitimate but she had no other choice but to be a fair weather friend and only leave Chen Yu Ming alone when trouble striked.
Chen Yu Ming helped herself to a pink English roll arm couch which had pillows in form of a cute teddy bear head.
There was a small table which had a cute living room lamp on top of it.
The lamp provided the room with sufficient lights.
She held the teddy bear pillow in her hands as she waited for Yang Zhi Peng who was doing the dishes.
It only took Yang Zhi Peng a few minutes to finish the dishes.
"How have you been doing lately?" Yang Zhi Peng asked Chen Yu Ming as she sat down.
She picked up the remote contol and switched on the television.
After Chen Yu Ming left, Yang Zhi Peng called her boss and informed her that everything had went as planned.
After Chen Yu Ming left Yang Zhi Peng's apartment. She headed directly home.
She heard the creaking of the door hinges then in came Chen Yu Ming.
She was surprised to find Chen Ming Zhu seated on the sofa with the lights in the living room on.
She was deeply engrossed in reading a script that she held tightly in her hands.
"What are you so deeply engrossed in reading that you can't even notice your own sister entering the house?" Chen Yu Ming asked.
She walked to where her sister was and peeped on the script.
"Be my man?" She read out loud.
"Are you planning to star in another drama?" She asked.
"Can you please mind your own business, young lady?"
"Mind my own business. Then why don't you read your script in your room and with that I'll mind my own business."
"Do you want to mean that if mom and dad read a novel in the lounge room they are not minding their own business?"
