February 18, 2022. Mark this day, it's the day I met the love of my life. My future husband. The father to my kids. The most gorgeous man on earth. My gorgeous grey eyes boy.
I jerked off my seat as I heard a thud. Looking down, I saw my book lying between my feet as my jaw still hanging wide open. I wanted to yell to my driver to stop the car. To give me a few more minutes to admire the gorgeous boy I just saw. Standing outside of my brother's school gate dressed in all black.
The cool morning breeze ruffled his fluffy black hair, and his gorgeous grey eyes sparkled under the morning's sun glow. His eyes were breathtaking as if they came out of a portrait sketched with a pencil. They are not the brightest grey, the one that would scare you off, nor black it's the perfect contrast of blackness and greyness.
I wanted nothing more than to kick open the car door and get out but I couldn't do that because I had school to get to and it's the boy's section, so standing in the middle of the street would be really weird.
I shook my head slightly, still trying to figure out if he was real or if I was still sleepy and daydreaming. I crouch down and grabbed my book, dusting off the bits of sand sticking to its pages. I tucked in my bookmark and closed my book still in a deep trance from what I just saw.
Our car came to a stop in front of my school. I climbed out of the car and walked to the door before my driver called out my name. Turning around, I look at him holding up my backpack, oh god! I quickly ran back to him and grabbed my backpack and jacket before heading inside. I got into the elevator and slapped my cheeks. Get your act together, woman. A seventh grader looked at me as if I were insane and I felt my cheeks heat up even more.
When the elevator came to a stop I ran out to my classroom. The first thing I saw was my best friend's face.
"Why do you look as red as a tomato?" she asked, furrowing her eyebrows.
"I just met the love of my life! That's what I announced with a full breath. I didn't even realize how breathless I was. "What book?" she asked. I shook my head vigorously.
"He's real, an actual real person," I panted out, "I hope," I muttered under my breath.
She looked at me stunned. She grabbed my backpack and threw it over my desk before we sat down on the floor and I started describing him to her. From head to toe.
"Aaron Blackford?" she asked, I pursed my lips, "more like Nasir Ghameq," I said.
"You just met your real Nasir Ghameq, Lucky..." She paused and looked around our classroom.
"I just hope he's not a tenth grader or something," I threw my head back and sighed.
