I won the first round and the spectators were shocked. I could have won in an instant but that would reveal that I can use more than one type of magic. Right now I made it look like spatial magic is my only magic and I won mostly due to the I items I got from the first test and the strategies I used. After the fight was over I went to my room to get some sleep.
It was midnight and I heard someone scream 5 miles away. I went to see what was happening and saw one of the candidates from the diamond kingdom lying dead. I left the place before I was framed and sensed someone else screaming close by. I made sure I won't be caught using the cape of darkness I got from the first test which allows me to become invisible for 10 minutes once a day.
I rushed over there to see another candidate of the diamond kingdom's corpse and a man wearing a cape. He rushed to kill other candidates too. I am not a saint but the direction he went was to my room. Since he was planning to kill me it makes sense that I should finish him off.
I used hell flame magic to try and cut his head off but he barely noticed and dodged. I asked him why he was killing other candidates and he replied " I am just reducing my competition " and revealed his face. He was one of the high-rank gods Ares the God of war.
"My magic allows me to get stronger the more I see blood so I was going to hunt others and take their blood for the 1 vs 1 fight. Since I am going to take blood anyways what's wrong with taking the blood of other spirit candidates anyway? Since I told you about my plan I will have to kill you "said Ares.
He took out a glass bottle filled with blood and looked at it. The amount of magic he had increased by 2 times and he got faster. He tried to attack me from behind but I used light magic to get behind him and used hell's blaze and chopped his head off. I could have played with him a little bit but I didn't know how many bottles of blood he has in his pocket.
I didn't want to give him a chance to get stronger and also didn't want to listen to his speech. I searched his body and found out that he had fifteen bottles of blood. Good thing that I finished him off. I copied his magic and left the bottles on his body so that when his body is found it will be known that he is the killer.
The morning came and it was found that Ares killed 4 other candidates and was also killed. The remaining candidates alive were 3. Zeus, Poseidon and me." Since the amount of contestants is odd one contestant will be given the right to go to the finals at random" said Alfred
"We will now roll a die the one who picked the number that is shown on the dice or the one who picked a number that is the closest to the die will have the right to advance to the final. Two candidates cannot pick the same number. Now candidates choose your number". Said, Alfred
Zeus picked 5 thinking he will get the right to advance to the finals if the number is 6, 5 or 4 since those are the numbers closest to 5 and he has a 50-50 chance. Poseidon understood what he was doing and picked 2. I who have infinite luck chose 3 and the number on the dice was 3.
