Now I wonder how can I unlock this seal. Now that all my magic has been upgraded to ancient rank I wanted to try something. This Unicorn has been sealed using ancient sealing magic and this unicorn has ancient star magic. So what if I just split the ancient sealing magic and the ancient star magic using ancient synthesis magic.
I implemented this plan and some pieces of rock started to wither away and fall from the unicorn and a white unicorn came out of it. "Finally after all these years, I am free. Damn Aether I will find him and make sure he goes through what I went through ". He looks at me and says" Oh are you the guy who helped me get out? I must say I didn't think I would be freed by a human shrimp ".
I asked the unicorn " Do you want to be sealed again? If you don't then go learn some manners". The unicorn laughed and said in a deep voice " Seal me again who do you think you are? I am the ancient unicorn of the stars, Starlight you think a human can stand a chance against me let alone seal me again? ".
I used the ancient sealing magic I copied from the seal cast on Starlight to seal her again but this time I allowed only her mouth to move. "How did you d- "Before she could finish her sentence I said, " Do you know in this sealed state you can feel pain so get ready". Starlight shouted " Let me out or els- " Before she could finish I kept hitting her with my mana-coated fists saying "Manners maketh man ".
After some time she apologized saying she was sorry for acting like she is boss completely out of her own will. I released her and asked her to tell me why she was sealed in detail. She said that she got cocky when her magic evolved into ancient magic so she destroyed 2-3 villages and was stopped and sealed by Aether nexus the spirit king.
I asked her what she was going to do now and she replied " I want to make a contract with you. I will become your spirit for freeing me. I have no other place to go anyways. So what will be your answer human ". " It's Helios, Helios Vermillion and I already have ancient star magic so why should I make you my spirit "? I asked. She asked, " Stop lying, How is that possible for you to have my magi- ". Before she could finish I showed her a small amount of ancient star magic mana.
She was surprised and I said, " My magic is ancient copy magic so it wasn't hard to copy your magic so tell me what use do you have for me? ". She was baffled but she managed to reply.
"Ancient spirits are different from other spirits. It will take up a lot of mana to create a spirit contract but once you form a spirit contract with me you will be able to summon me without using any of your mana. You use the mana in the contract to summon me instead".
"You can summon me until the mana in the contract runs out in which case you can add more mana to it later. This way you can summon me when you are in a bad situation and have low or no mana left. So what do you say Helios ". I had nothing to lose so I accepted. We formed a contract and after that, I trained using all the new ancient magics I just unlocked and created some new ancient magics using ancient synthesis magic for emergencies.
Before I knew it, Three weeks and 4 days have passed. The spirit king competition starts in 3 days. This is going to be fun.
