Chapter 10 - 10) A journey to Heart kingdom

Before we left for the heart kingdom I had trained my moon, cherry blossom, wind and flame magic properly this past 8 years I can also fly properly in a broom and use the Flaming cheetahs that Miss Theresa used. I heard Mimosa and Eliana awakened their magic during mana training but I didn't attend the mana training so I don't know properly what magic they used. We were taken to the heart kingdom borders via spatial magic (magic which uses space attributes and is mostly used for teleportation purposes). The spatial mage and captain fuegoleon leave after the envoy from the heart kingdom arrives. The envoy introduces himself as Gaja the thunder spirit guardian. Kirsch then says " Oh this name has a nice ring to it ". He then takes us through a giant wall of mist through a boat. After we went through the mist we saw a beautiful sight. A land which looked like a forest filled with mana beasts and humans living together. We were going through a river which went in between the forest. Eliana asked Gaja out of curiosity " I heard there are no magic knights in the Heart Kingdom then how are the mages ranked? " Gaja replied "Yes unlike the Clover Kingdom we do not have magic knights, all the mages in our kingdom are ranked in stages. Stage zero is the strongest and stage nine is the weakest. There are 5 mages who are at stage zero they are called the spirit guardians. The Spirit guardians directly serve the queen " Eliana then flustered "Wait you said you were the thunder spirit guardian so-" Gaja then replies "Yes I am one of the 5 spirit guardians " Kirsch then asks Gaja" What is that beautiful mist we just entered? " Gaja replies "The heart kingdom is surrounded by the mist. Everything that happens inside the mist is seen by our queen ". We then looked around the heart kingdom and Kirsch was as usual being annoying. Eliana saw a small and cute squirrel. She wanted to pet it but it ran away so she chased after it. The squirrel was a wind squirrel it was only basic rank but it was still fast. She ran away from the others and I went to get her back as Gaja can't leave the other 3 people to protect 1 person. This is a forest where wild animals are also present that was the reason they left a spirit guardian by our side. When Eliana was chasing the squirrel, it suddenly stopped and ran back. Eliana took this moment and caught it, she was happy that she caught it and I was scolding her and told her to return to the group she got a little mad but she apologised. The squirrel in her hand was squeaking trying to warn us about something but we didn't study squirrel language so we didn't know what it was saying then the squirrel was scared that's when I felt something was wrong. The squirrel could have easily escaped Eliana but why did it run back? Why is it scared now? That's when I realised maybe it sensed some kind of danger. The moment I finish thinking about it a giant boulder comes flying our way. Without thinking I summoned the flamming cheetahs to block the attack but it destroyed the cheetahs and hit us. If I didn't summon the cheetahs we would have died thankfully the cheetahs absorbed most of the damage but we were both fatally damaged before I lost consciousness I saw a gorilla made out of rocks and I fainted
