Sultan sat on the edge of his bed, staring blankly at the wall. His mind was still reeling from the revelation that Lady Seraphina was not who she seemed to be. He couldn't believe that she had been deceiving him all along. He felt hurt, betrayed, and angry all at the same time.
As he sat there lost in thought, he heard a knock on his door. It was one of the maids, informing him that Lady Seraphina had requested his presence in the throne room.
Sultan took a deep breath and tried to compose himself. He got up from the bed and followed the maid to the throne room. As he entered, he saw Lady Seraphina sitting on the throne, surrounded by her harem.
"Ah, Sultan, I'm glad you could join us,"
she said, with a smile.
Sultan forced a smile and took a seat beside her. He could feel the tension in the air, and he knew that something was about to happen.
"I have some news that I believe will be of great interest to you, Sultan,"
Lady Seraphina said, her eyes gleaming with excitement.
Sultan raised an eyebrow, unsure of what she was referring to.
"What news would that be, Lady Seraphina?"
he asked.
"I have received a letter from the High Priestess of the Temple of the Moon,"she said, holding up a piece of parchment.
"She has informed me that there is a prophecy that has been foretold about the reincarnation of the Moon Goddess."
Sultan's heart skipped a beat. He had heard stories about the Moon Goddess and her power. He couldn't believe that he was hearing about her reincarnation.
"What does this prophecy say?"
he asked, his voice barely above a whisper.
"It says that the Moon Goddess will be reborn into the body of a mortal, and that she will possess great power and wisdom. The High Priestess believes that you, Sultan, may be the one who has been chosen to receive the Moon Goddess's power," Lady Seraphina explained.
Sultan's head was spinning. He couldn't believe what he was hearing. He had always felt like there was something special about him, but he never imagined that he could be the reincarnation of a goddess.
"What do we need to do?" Sultan asked, feeling a surge of excitement and fear at the same time.
"We must go to the Temple of the Moon and speak with the High Priestess. She will perform a ritual to determine whether or not you are the one who has been chosen," Lady Seraphina said.
Sultan nodded, his mind racing with questions and doubts. He couldn't shake the feeling that there was something else going on, something that Lady Seraphina wasn't telling him.
As he stood up to leave, Lady Seraphina grabbed his arm. "Sultan, there is something else that I need to tell you," she said, her voice serious.
"What is it?"
Sultan asked, his heart pounding in his chest.
"I have been keeping a secret from you, one that I should have told you from the beginning,"
Lady Seraphina said, her eyes filled with remorse.
Sultan felt a cold chill run down his spine. He knew that whatever she was about to say was going to change everything.
"I am not from this world, Sultan.
I too, like you, was reincarnated here. But unlike you, I remember everything about my past life," Lady Seraphina said, her voice barely above a whisper.
Sultan's jaw dropped. He couldn't believe what he was hearing. Lady Seraphina, the woman he had trusted and loved had been hiding such a huge secret from him all along. His mind was racing with questions and doubts, and he couldn't help but feel betrayed.
"Lady Seraphina, why didn't you tell me any of this before?"
Sultan finally spoke up, his voice filled with hurt and anger.
Lady Seraphina's eyes were filled with regret as she looked back at him.
"I wanted to tell you, Sultan. But I was afraid of what you would think of me. I didn't want to lose your love and trust," she explained.
Sultan shook his head in disbelief. "You should have trusted me enough to tell me the truth, Lady Seraphina."
"I would never judge you based on your past. But now...I don't know what to think."
Lady Seraphina reached out to him, trying to hold his hand.
"Please, Sultan. Don't let this change how you feel about me. I love you more than anything, and I will do anything to make things right."
Sultan pulled his hand away, his heart heavy with pain.
"I need time to think, Lady Seraphina."
"I can't just forget everything and move on like nothing happened. This changes everything."
Lady Seraphina looked down, her eyes brimming with tears.
"I understand. I'll give you all the time you need. But please, don't shut me out completely. I need you, Sultan."
Sultan didn't say anything in response. He simply turned and walked away, leaving Lady Seraphina alone with her thoughts and regrets.
As he walked through the halls of the palace, Sultan couldn't shake off the feeling of betrayal that had taken hold of him. He loved Lady Seraphina with all his heart, but he couldn't ignore the fact that she had been hiding something so significant from him.
He found himself outside the palace gardens, the moonlight casting a soft glow over the flowers and trees. As he walked deeper into the gardens, he heard a soft voice calling out his name.
"Sultan..."
He turned to see a figure emerging from the shadows. It was Aisha, one of the women from his harem. She had always been drawn to Sultan, but he had never paid her much attention, his heart belonging solely to Lady Seraphina.
But tonight, as he looked at Aisha, he saw her in a different light. Her dark hair was cascading down her back in waves, her eyes shining bright in the moonlight. And for the first time, Sultan felt a spark of desire igniting within him.
"Sultan, is everything okay?"
Aisha asked, her concern evident in her voice.
Sultan didn't respond, but instead took a step closer to her, his eyes locked on hers. Without a word, he reached out and pulled her into his embrace, their lips meeting in a fiery kiss.
For the rest of the night, Sultan and Aisha explored their newfound passion beneath the moonlit sky, their bodies entwined in a sensual dance. And as the morning sun rose, Sultan knew that his life would never be the same again.
