"Can promise that much" said y/n "Also Felis we should soon start training, since it would help you a lot"
"Meow maw meow?" Asked Felis •when can I start training?"
"Taking that it will take a day or two to get to Pewter City and that we may run into wild Pokémon I need to take care of that. I would say when we run into wild Pokémon or we will sometimes fight his pidgey but when we come home we will focus more on training the body" said y/n
Felis just looked at her confused
"Meow maw? Asked Felis •can you make the sentence simpler?•
"In other words, you will get to train a little on this trip and when we are back home we will train your body. Is that simple enough?" Asked y/n
"Meow" answered Felis •very much•
"Well, Rickey should we get going now?" Asked y/n
"Yeah, let's go" answered Rickey.
"Pidgey pidg pidgey?" Asked the male pidgey confused •is he not going to put me back into my Pokeball?•
"The reason we let you outside of your Pokeball was so that you two can 'bond' more in a way" answered y/n "Since he wants to be a Pokémon breeder I thought it would make more sense that he could have you outside of your Pokeball and not have you attack someone right away"
"Pidgey, pig pidgey pi," said pidgey as if it was a normal thing to say •I see, well we were trained always to protect the one we are gifted to and not to obey anyone else•
"How long has that been going on?" Asked y/n
"Pidgey Pidgey pid pi" answered the male pidgey •for as long as I have been alive and even before I came to the world
"You learn something new every day," said y/n to herself
"What are you and pidgey talking about?" Asked Rickey now curious since y/n could understand Pokémon
"Just found out that Pokémon like yours get trained only to obey the one that they are gifted to and no one else and that it has been going on for a very long time" answered y/n
"Wow I knew that they are trained but not that they were also trained only to obey the one they are gifted to," said Rickey
"As I said you learn something new every day," said y/n
"That is true," said Rickey with a laugh "There is still so much to discover in this world like what Pokémon looked like in the past or future and if Pokémon can get a different mutation than their shiny form"
"Well something that we can work on in the future is getting a better understanding of Pokémon, like their foods, habits, environment, and the relationship between other Pokémon," said y/n
"Yeah and when I am older and can become a Pokémon trainer I am going to go and explore the world with my notebooks for a year and then come back to share them with you," said Rickey
"you do that, and I will still be back in our town starting a business and when you come back you can help me with checking if the environment is good for them," said y/n
"Oh yeah never really asked but what business are you planning on?" Asked Rickey
"Well it will be a place where people can adopt Pokémon or get 'rid' of them and a daycare for some that can't take their Pokémon to work with them or while they are traveling" answered y/n
"I see, also is Felis your partner?" Asked Rickey
"Yeah" answered y/n confused since it should be obvious that Felis was her partner
"And is there a chance that Felis is a part of a group of two Persian and five months?" Asked Rickey
"Yes Felis is a part of that group" answered y/n more confused
"Well in the town that group is known to attack shops and break inside houses," said Rickey
"How else are they going to get food if they can't hunt in the wild?" Asked y/n still very confused
"Just saying that by having that group with you, you may get a bad review from people in the town and that can make it hard to start the business" answered Rickey
"So in a way I should hide them from the public eyes as a way to get a better start and if they are ever discovered my reputation will go down? Am I missing anything" said y/n
"No," said Rickey
"Well then I rather start with a bad reputation and show that since the group will be getting fed by me they won't come to steal food anymore," said y/n
"Still think that you would benefit more by hiding them," said Rickey
"Do you think that a Pokémon would want to be inside of its Pokeball forever, only so that its trainer can get a better reputation than if the trainer let them roam around the area?" said y/n annoyed with Rickey "In other words how would you like to stay in one place at all time just so that your family can have a better reputation"
"Calm down now y/n," said Rickey seeing that y/n was getting worked up.
Y/n calmed down but was still annoyed at Rickey since he told her to hide Felis and the rest of the group so that her reputation did not go down she saw that it would benefit her if she hid them but it was better to let people know that group is with her right away since if she hid them and then they came out then her reputation would go down right away and with them knowing from the start would just be better.
while they continued to walk forward, a new buddy had to watch everything that they talked about, and in all honesty, was agreeing to what the girl said since it would be better in the long run.
Felis looked behind her and thought she heard someone but after seeing that no one was there and decided that she was going to go on her trainer's head while she still could.
