As night fell, the group found themselves in need of a campsite. Soldiers busied themselves outdoors, setting up the camp, while the princes formed a circle, engaging in discussions and enjoying the provisions of their journey, including a recently caught antelope kid.
Meanwhile, those held captive, whom they referred to as slaves, were confined in a separate area. Among them, a figure sat bound, struggling to free themselves from their restraints. The leader of the four queens intervened, instructing their attendants to remove the gag and cloth covering the individual's mouth. The prisoner wasted no time, expressing their displeasure at the treatment received during the arduous journey. Their plea for water highlighted their discomfort and painted the group as uncaring.

Upon the prince's arrival, he was accompanied by all his loyal companions, including the captive princess. However, rather than being welcomed with open arms, a harsh fate awaited them. The prince found himself thrown into a grim and desolate prison cell, a consequence of his audacious decision to bring his youngest sibling along on their ambitious quest to conquer a distant kingdom.
Yet, behind this seemingly unjust punishment lay a deeper truth. The kingdom was in turmoil, its once wise and benevolent king now succumbing to the shadows of his own mind. Unbeknownst to many, it was the king himself who had ordered his sons to march into battle, armed with little more than their courage and outnumbered by opposing forces. The king's desperation to expand his realm had driven him to send his own flesh and blood into the heart of danger, a decision that now weighed heavily upon his conscience.
