Nina was getting ready to leave the house for college when she heard footsteps. She was seated on a chair, typing on her phone so she looked up when she realized that the person had made their way into the living room.
She almost rolled her eyes when she saw that it was Ryder. At the same time, she was excited because she knew what he was here for. She quickly put her phone down and acted nervous, as if thinking of what to say.
She ended up not saying anything and just stared at him, wondering what he wanted to do. He had come to beg her. She was very sure about that but what didn't know was how he would execute it and she was inquisitive to know what he had planned.
Ryder went down on one knee with a pitiful face on. He felt bad because he had doubted her. "I am sorry. Please forgive me." were the only words he said. He gazed at her with hopefulness, wishing she would reply to him positively.
