Chapter 63 - CHAPTER 63

[ DAMIAN'S PERSPECTIVE]

Boom!

[ NATURE'S CALL]

[DOMINATION]

[BLOOD FEST]

One by one, the familiars and all the other characters forgotten by the author launched their attacks on the army of sirens and monsters attacking us.

The sirens split into two groups. The first group continued releasing sonic attacks, while the other group began singing a new tune. At first, we didn't notice anything different, but eventually our movements slowed down and we were assaulted with a headache. It was both a debuff and a mental attack.

F**k!

"@*##@%" multiple golden lights appeared around Diana as she began to chant.

As the golden lights appeared around her, they slowly moved into position above each of our heads. More colored lights appeared and fused with the golden light. As soon as the chant ended, the light descended upon us, dispelling our status effects and enhancing our stats. The sirens, enraged by this turn of events, focused their attacks on Diana.

Unbeknownst to us, a tiny figure with cat ears had snuck up behind the singing sirens, waiting for the command.

"Now, Lilia," Diana shouted.

Lilia, the cat girl familiar Diana had gotten from the familiar world - one of the characters completely forgotten by the author - heard her master's command, and the aura around her completely changed.

"VOID CLAWS!" she shouted, as if announcing her presence to the author who had forgotten her. Raising one of her hands into the air, her claws seemed to pierce through the space around them. They even lagged, as if facing some obstruction. Seconds later, after she brought her claws down. Everyone, including the sirens, looked around in confusion, until...

SHRRIIIIMNNGGG!

CRACK!

The void split, revealing cracks that were huge - six meters long and two meters wide, in the shape of giant claws. It was as if an enormous cat had swiped its claws through the void, obliterating the sirens and monsters in its path.

"Damn, would you look at that!" David exclaimed, "And what the hell is that difference?" He shouted again, this time pointing at Diana and Lilia, who had silently returned to her side.

I turned to look at the difference he was pointing to, and was instantly dumbfounded.

How could this be?

The moment I saw them, I could instantly guess what was going on in David's mind. Lilia and Diana stood proudly beside each other, heads held high and chests puffed out. If it had just been Lilia, it would have been fine - she was a cute girl with a pleasant figure, but what was the flat-chested Diana doing? this was too much, the difference between them was like the difference between heaven and earth.

Naraia and Lily, another pair of forgotten characters, also decided to remind the author of their existence. A transparent green aura slowly covered Lily like armor, as she began to amplify her stats with wind magic. Naraia's body began to glow with ki, as the two of them bolted off towards the enemy, with Naraia's vampire familiar following her, while Lily's familiar supported them from behind.

[SEA MOTHER'S WRATH]

[KI BOMB]

[ENHANCEMENT]

BOOM! BOOOM!! BOOOOM!!!

[JENNA'S PERSPECTIVE]

"You beasts don't understand," Draxus said, adopting the pose of a dignified commander lecturing his troops. "You can't enter this cave."

Growl! Hiss! Roar! Kaw!

The beasts began to protest, baring their fangs, standing on their hind legs, and beating their chests, trying to intimidate us.

"I see," Draxus said, silencing the beasts. "So you've chosen death?" he continued, as he drew his sword.

CRACKLE!

Lightning began to flicker around my body as I readied myself for battle. Janet disappeared from everyone's senses, and Draxus declared, "Then we shall show you... the difference between heaven and earth!"
