"Watch how Kim Yong fights and learn"
A huge screen of ice projects Kim Yong fighting an army of people along with three strong monsters. He easily killed the small ice soldier with various weapons, nonetheless is he slowly accumulating damage.
"What do you think about watching someone so strong getting hurt purposefully?"
'Purposefully?'
Our entire group watches his fight, but I can see that everyone is surprised by what he asked. The smile on Jaden face feels genuine, and... his eyes show pride for a child, that isn't his own.
"He knows you are watching, furthermore, is he trying to reach his limits physically"
I couldn't understand what he said, no matter how hard I tried to... until Casein explained again.
"He uses this chance to test his newly gained strength, at the same time he wants to gain experience fighting against multiple enemies"
Casein stopped talking while watching his movements change, his eyes show a hint of surprise.
"He is training his arts without mana together with familiarising himself with his skills even more"
Hela is looking at the screen without a change in her calm expression, analysing it at the same speed Casein does... which is terrifying fast.
"Grandpa, how can he think of such insane things in your territory?"
Hela with a cute smile, tries to get the answer from her Grandpa. He simply smiles, not answering her question.
'How has his territory a barrier?'
There are three different ways to deploy your own area of control, domain expansion, Territory declaration, sanctuary deployment.
The differences between these three are the barrier created around them and what you need to deploy them.
For Domains, you simply need a good understanding of your element and connect a concept with it... and you have a domain expansion.
For Territories, you need a peak understanding of your element and defy a law or add one which shouldn't exist on earth, together with having a slight impact on history.
And Sanctuaries are God domains of sorts, Apostles use the concept of their god and create a space in the concept they control... or you have achievements like the Dragon lord.
The most interesting thing for me is the small reason, Territories can trap someone, but they don't have a barrier.
Jaden Silva, his territory has a clear barrier... and it doesn't feel weak at all, like it should.
'How is this possible?'
Casein, with golden hair and eyes, lands in front of me. He is clearly frustrated by my lack of knowledge.
"You don't need to understand it right now... but remember it"
Casein is seriously glancing around and memorizing the entire territory, his aura surrounding him feels suffocating.
"Humans on this planet are really a different breed"
Before I could question his weird choice of words, he glares at the screen where Kim Yong is punching the wolf, kicking the snakes' mouth away simultaneously.
"I go back to sleep, summon another soul from a fire you unlocked"
'I should do WHAT?'
The concept of souls was a thing in my novel, for example the tower in everyone, however I never intended for multiple souls to reside in one body.
"Awaken the holy fire soul"
'Hey, explain to me how multiple souls exist inside me?'
His eyes fixed on the screen, he added a sentence... a few words, which destroy my confidence as Author even more.
"All of your fires, you unlock, will build an own soul with enough time. Weren't you saved already twice by such a soul?"
Thinking back, I was saved by the azure blue fire in the dungeon... WAIT, KIM YONG MEANT THE AZURE BLUE FIRE AS THE SECOND SOUL IN ME!
'How do I summon the souls of the fires?'
His face turned serious... so serious that I felt my heart stop beating for a second.
"You push the mana... no Ether in the fire you create, then you wait for the soul to accept your summon. Don't worry, the Holy fire will accept you"
The suffocating atmosphere around him, made it so much harder to breathe, my knees almost gave out.
"I go back to sleep, I don't know for how long I will sleep but let me warn you"
He turns his body a bit, his right eye revealing the chilly feeling of death... I don't know how else I should describe such bloodlust.
"Never... Never summon the Azure Blue fire to guide you"
He vanishes, along with him the entire bloodlust in the air. Not in my lifetime will I understand why he fears the azure blue fire so much.
"Hey Alan, why did the pressure of your mana vanished?"
Hela with her angelic and clear voice, sounds worried.
... however, her perception of mana shouldn't outclass Rica hers, yet she felt it the moment it happened.
Rica herself doesn't understand exactly what she meant, and I know she feels it weakly.
'Kim Yong is even more a monster than these two'
My heart dropped as his eyes, the moment Casein entered his deep slumber, glance at the thing projecting the image on the screen.
At the same time is the Ice kangaroo human with armour, kicking Kim Yong. Kim Yong easily dodged that, meanwhile, is the wolf again attacking his neck.
I stare at the screen in shock, the pride of being the Author of my own novel, is already extinguished.

Hela accepted my stupid lie, still a bit suspicious about it.

The Territory quakes a bit, through the Ether changing its concept forcefully a bit.
The fire brightly lit up, shaping its own form. The territory leaves space for it, even if it invaded his space forcefully.
Out of the light steps a woman... no a horse, a Pegasus with a tattoo on its head showing a yellow circle, eight shards evenly placed on the circle, furthermore, in the centre is a light yellow pupil with a small x in it.
"You summoned me, oh holy master"
'Explain all decisions and smart decisions Kim Yong does on the screen'
The Pegasus lowered its wings as well as her head, her legs slightly bend... I needed a second to understand what she was doing.
She is bowing like someone does to his king.
She started to explain at the same speed as Hela what Kim Yong did. I, of course, listened with my Author profession and let it all be written down in a book created by my Ether.
'Now let's understand the territory more'
I went to the wall behind me, touching its cold surface, although it should be freezing... it feels only cold to touch.
Not one gap or rough surface is visible on the wall. It is a sphere shaped ice wall, copied from domains.
'How is the mana mixing with the law of the territory so well... this shouldn't be possible in the novel'
I tried to pierce the structure with my phoenix eyes. The mana paths and the connection should become visible, if I pierce through the layers of protection... or so I thought.
The phoenix eyes pierced through three layers of the ice, my mind is already crumbling by the amount of information... on mana paths.
Another three layers of the ice were pierced through, I feel losing my sense of self... my emotions together with my body motions froze to the bare minimum.
Right before I pierced the next layer, my body feels so cold, although it was comfortable, my mind screamed to leave.
The instincts of the phoenix warn me about my current condition, I was close to dying... I would have died if my blood-red fire didn't act on its own, protecting my heart and brain.
I turned off my phoenix eyes, at that moment... realization came to me, had I pierced it one more time, I would have died.
My entire body is already frozen, almost becoming a part of it, of the territory itself.
"Alan, I know from the Instructors that you are a curious one"
His monotone, deep voice, sends shivers down my frozen spine. The ice didn't melt, the more fire I released... the more ice is created around me.
"But curiosity kills more often than you think. So please refrain from studying my territory"
I couldn't move, couldn't answer, couldn't command her anything since she is also frozen in ice.
The helplessness, the frustration, the agitation, the amazement...
All of this vanished... my mind only wanted once, to swear allegiance to the king of the coldest temperature known to all kind of beings.

The ice melted, my thoughts started again and all the knowledge I gained... is gone.
I couldn't look at him, my ability also failed me, the holy fire Pegasus still frozen.
Only one word left my mouth.

The holy fire Pegasus could move again, my ability worked perfectly like it did before, my body healed itself faster than it ever did.
... Absolute Zero, a territory who freezes everything who defies it.
