The night had grown late as Helena managed to doze off. She hadn't finished reviewing Eric's reports. Since becoming under house arrest for three days, she hadn't left her workspace. Even her sleep happened at her work desk.
Her body felt uncomfortable. Her back was sore and stiff. "Maybe I should relax and sleep in the bed."
The house was eerily quiet at that time. She wanted something warm to drink to comfort herself and ease her body. However, for some reason, she felt too lazy to wake anyone up at that moment.
Helena then decided to head to the kitchen. She wanted to drink the spiced tea that Ethan used to make.
Even though she didn't like it. But suddenly, she felt like having it.
"Damn! I don't know what exactly needs to be mixed into that drink," Helena thought seriously. She opened the boxes of spices in the kitchen and smelled each one individually.
