"I just found out that a high-level wizard has a strange hobby," Ethan grumbled. "A peeping Tom."
He was now outside the room, entertaining Lord Gabriel separately to avoid waking up Helena, who was still tired.
"I didn't expect you to still be with your wife. Didn't we have an appointment to meet shortly?" Lord Gabriel grumbled. "I was just a little earlier than the time you specified."
Ethan didn't argue. Lord Gabriel had only decided to collaborate with Ethan after meeting Helena in person.
Initially, the rumors about Helena made Lord Gabriel skeptical. However, after conducting his own investigation and meeting Helena in person, he didn't believe she was as bad as the rumors said.
"So, what is your decision?" Ethan asked afterward. "You already have a deal with Helena. I hope you won't cheat by canceling it."
