"What?" Ethan looked at Duke Henry in disbelief. "King Arthur?"
Duke Henry's eyes narrowed. He nodded like a drunken man. His eyes were red from welling tears.
"My talented granddaughter... When she was only seven years old, she once made me a lot of money just by seeing Liana gracefully sneeze in front of noble ladies," Duke Henry reminisced. "She asked me to sell handkerchiefs similar to Liana's at a high price. Many young noble's daughters wanted the same handkerchief as Liana."
Ethan nodded, sensing something peculiar about Duke Henry's behavior. Nonetheless, he paid close attention because what Duke Henry said was intriguing.
"I thought King Arthur liked Helena," Ethan commented, recalling the expensive gifts Helena received from the King and Queen. However, he realized that the prizes Helena received in the competition couldn't be construed as a manifestation of the King and Queen's fondness for her.
