Chereads / The Villainess Wanted an Obedient Husband / Chapter 7 - Forbidden Feelings

Chapter 7 - Forbidden Feelings

Ethan and Helena stared at each other. Their eyes locked each other. Intensely. Tightly Helena hugged the pillow in her chest.

Ethan stared at the pillow with great envy. At this moment, he desperately wanted to switch positions with the pillow. Huddled tightly against Helena's round breasts? Who wouldn't? Moreover, earlier he had accidentally felt the blood rushing, igniting the spark of lust, even for a moment. The sensation was truly unforgettable.

"So, what's next?" said Helena and Ethan together. No. Ethan idly imitated what Helena said. However, he pretended to be romantic. As if he did that by chance.

"You ... didn't you say you would follow all my wishes?" Helena protested because everything didn't go according to what she had planned. The room that was supposed to have a couch also didn't exist.

"Yes, but the floor is cold, honey! Do you ask me to sleep on the floor?" Ethan tried to bargain. He was indeed treated poorly in the baron's family. But that didn't mean he used to sleep on the floor. However, what made him a little cranky wasn't because he didn't want to sleep on the floor, but because he wanted to be close to Helena.

"Don't call me Honey when we're alone together. I do not want—"

"Don't you afraid of someone eavesdropping on our conversation?" Ethan cut off his wife's statement.

"Hey, jerk! You want to trick me, don't you?" It was Helena who felt that Ethan was starting to fool her. "Do you remember that you were willing to comply with all my requests?" whispered Helena very quietly for fear of someone hearing.

"Ummm…."

"It's up to you if you want a divorce. You can go back to the baron's house and I will sell your father's name and land at a cheap price," threatened Helena with a sinister smile plastered on her face. "What do you think?"

Helena got out of bed and walked over to Ethan to emphasize who was the boss. "You can choose. Sleep on the floor, or get a divorce and pay off your so-called father's debts!" Helena raised her eyebrows in line with her sensual lips which were now slightly parted defiantly, forming the evilest smile Ethan had ever seen.

For Ethan, Helena was something completely new. Greed and wicked were the only things he had seen in men, usually old men. Meanwhile, Helena had broken all of Ethan's ideas about a woman. So sadistic, so evil, so greedy, and so ambitious.

Understandably. So far, Ethan has only known women like Sylvia, the baron's daughter, who was very gentle and kind. More or less, Sylvia was a female figure like Liana. So, women like Sylvia and Liana were the ideal embodiment of a woman.

"You're a man, right?" asked Helena without taking her death stare from Ethan's dark eyes. "A man must be able to keep his word."

Helena who was angry immediately lay down on the bed and covered her body with a blanket. She was very upset and nervous. Even though she planned to have children with Ethan, she didn't want to do it so soon. She wasn't used to men's touch.

Meanwhile, Ethan, desperate to sleep near his woman, forced himself to sleep on the hard floor. What could he do about it? He had already agreed to obey her wishes. He had to keep his promise.

The next day, Ethan wakes up feeling achy. How come? He was not even given pillows and blankets by Helena. However, he still had to try to keep a cheerful face so no one would suspect that he and Helena were in a pact not to touch each other at all.

Ethan looked at Helena who was still curled up in the blanket. The man then approached Helena, wanting to do something fun. When he looked closely, Helena's face was different.

"It turns out that you are so innocent when you sleep! It's like you've never done any sin!" Ethan whispered with a meaningful smile. His heart rippled looking at her flawless beautiful face with acute innocence because not the slightest aura of arrogance adorned her face.

Unknowingly, Ethan brought his face closer to Helena's. He felt Helena's hot breath and began to hear the soft snoring of her beautiful lips.

Like being attracted by a magnet, Ethan drew closer to Helena's face. Her lips were ready to execute the soft ruby-red lips that were in front of her. "Just a little bit is fine, right?" whispered Ethan softly.

Suddenly, Helena's eyes opened. He glared sharply. Ethan recoiled in fright. The man sat on the floor in a panic. "I–I didn't do anything … yet!" said Ethan defensively.

Helena's eyes looked like she was about to try Ethan with a hammer and charged him with life imprisonment. However, a second later, the woman closed her eyes again and fell asleep so soundly.

Ethan, who had been panicked and supported his body with his strong hands on the floor, gradually became relieved again. He rubbed his chest and said, "That was close!"

Ethan walked outside to do his training in the early morning. He planned to do his hobby, sword training, once he left the baron's family. Back then, he had to restrain himself since he had lots of house chores to do. Poor Ethan! At least, he didn't have to do the chores anymore.

When Ethan passed the kitchen, he found several women in the kitchen, cooking breakfast. Included among them was the beautiful Liana. He had no choice but to stop since it was rare for a lady from the noble family to do the chores by herself. So excessively kind, as expected from a heroine.

"Hey, Ethan! What are you doing so early?" Liana greeted her cousin-in-law with a smile. "How did your sleep last night?"

"Hey, Miss! If the newlyweds get up early in the morning, they must be exhausted! Look at young master's face!" one of the maids commented rudely because indeed they were not afraid of Liana who was so friendly.

"Aaahh, of course!" Liana blushed with embarrassment, making Ethan's heart flutter.

Liana's expression was so feminine. Liana was gentle like a woman should be. A beautiful and graceful one, just like all the heroines of the stories.

Feeling stared at by Ethan, Liana blushed even more. Especially when their gaze met and locked each other. A forbidden and hidden desire arose in both hearts. 'If only you didn't marry her yet!' Liana muttered to herself.
