Helena blinked as she set foot on the ground, stepping on the grass and leaves. Ethan led both women to the heart of the dense and mystical woods, especially familiar to Helena. The sight of the white-colored roots and the dazzling sunlight reflections at various points triggered Helena's memories of the place.
"Silverwood Forest?" Helena murmured softly, looking at Ethan with a hint of confusion.
"This might be a safe place from the guards, but is it a suitable hideout?" Diana asked, looking at Ethan with a protesting expression.
"The main thing is to escape from the Mis Valley first. I didn't have time to think of a better place," Ethan replied flatly. His face appeared tense, and he tightly held onto his wife. "Don't wander far from me. You're not armed."
Indeed, in the forest, there would be wild animals as one would expect. There were also numerous venomous snakes.
"I'm not that bad at defending myself even without a weapon," Helena retorted.
