Evelyn gazed into the crystal ball, observing a familiar figure to Ethan. It was a man who bore a striking resemblance to a young King Arthur.
"Is that Prince Lucas?" Ethan whispered under his breath.
Startled, Evelyn was taken aback as Ethan caught her using the crystal ball. She stood there, surprised. "Ethan, it's not what you think. I... I didn't violate any rules. I was just taking a quick look. Please don't report me to Lord Gabriel."
Evelyn attempted to leave, but Ethan held her back and said, "I want to borrow it from you. May I?"
"What?" Evelyn was taken aback. "You want to borrow it?" She trembled, afraid that Ethan might lie and report her.
However, Ethan quickly explained, "Indeed, I won't report you to Lord Gabriel if you lend it to me."
