Evelyn feels uncomfortable. At first, she thought she would be comfortable taking a bath with Devin, but when their bodies touched so close and tightly, she felt shy.
She has never taken a bath with a man, and if she knew that taking a bath with Devin would be this embarrassing, she wouldn't do it.
"This is embarrassing," Evelyn says, feeling her ears and face turn hot. She can't even look beside her; she just wants it to end as fast as possible.
When Devin's head leans against her, her breath becomes rapid, and she clenches her fist, trying to calm her beating heart. However, she can't calm herself when she feels his hot breath on her shoulder.
She glances sideways, wanting to tell him to move his head, but she sees that he is sleeping. She sees his sleeping face leaning against her shoulder, and suddenly, Evelyn feels calm, and a smile appears on her face.
She doesn't know why, but two days ago, she felt a change in Devin and felt the need to take care of him, although she has been taking care of him since his parents died. After the change that happened inside him, she feels the need to take extra care.
She smiles, although she still feels embarrassed with her red ears and face. She moves her shoulder, so Devin can sleep peacefully. He must be tired from walking in this mountain range; he deserves a good sleep.
Evelyn also closes her eyes, leaning towards Devin, with her head on his and his head on her shoulder. Right now, she feels extremely happy, and even this sleeping pose doesn't seem uncomfortable but rather the most comfortable position.
She wishes that she and her daughter sleep together like they used to, but she knows it's impossible. The relationship between them has become too bad, and if she doesn't do anything, it will get even worse. She knows she has to do something, but she also has to be careful not to make the relationship even worse.

Emily is sitting under a tree, watching the stars. She doesn't have anything to do other than protect Evelyn and Devin.
She is getting bored, but after a while she hears rustling sounds. Emily becomes alert, gets up, and looks around.
On this night, the trees are shining under the moonlight. She looks around her, and she doesn't feel any presence. Seeing that there is nothing, she lets her nerves loosen. But as she does, she sees something flying in front of her, coming in her direction.
Emily isn't able to react as she feels extreme danger from the thing that is approaching her at a speed she can't believe. She feels death lingering on her.
She freezes there, but then the long hair she wrapped around her neck moves on its own. Her hair unnaturally grows even more, moving with speed that seems invincible, wrapping around the thing that came flying towards her.
Emily's eyes are wide open in disbelief. She looks at her hair that wrapped the small lightning rabbits, her face showing disgust at her hair.
She sees her own hair, on its own, killing the lightning rabbits, then returning to its original length. Emily has the urge to cut all her hair, but she refrains from doing it. If she cuts her hair, even more will grow back.
"I want to die, but every time this hair keeps getting in the way," Emily says in disgust as she twists her hair, hoping her hair will be in pain.
Despite facing discrimination and receiving hurtful comments, she has tried to kill herself not just once but many times, but every time her hair gets in her way, always saving her from any danger. Even an SS-Rank person or beast can't do anything to her; that's how strong defensive power her hair has, but Emily doesn't need it.
Emily wants to make herself free from these hairs; actually, she doesn't mind having such long hair on her head, but the problem is that she has hair all over her body.

After staying in the spring water for three days straight with Devin beside her, Evelyn grew used to it and doesn't feel as much embarrassment as she did on the first day.
During these three days, she and Devin talked a lot about various things, including her husband.
"Aunt, how was your husband?" Devin asked.
"Well... he was a good guy," Evelyn said. Evelyn feels bad for lying to Devin, but it's better if he thinks her husband is dead.
She has to wait for her husband to call before she can tell Devin and Ava that he is alive. So, she forcibly brought up another topic beside her husband, as Devin is asking too many questions about him.
"Aunt, you never talk about your family? Like your mother and father, do you have any siblings?"
"Well, I'm not on good terms with my father and mother, but I have a lovely little sister whom I love very much. However, she is away from the kingdom, so I can't meet with her right now."
"I'd like to meet your sister."
"Okay, she said she will be back in two years, then you can see her." Evelyn smiles and says.
Now, there is only some time left before they have to leave the spring water. The two are silent beside each other, but this silence is broken by Devin as he questions, "Aunt, are you going to be with me forever?"
Evelyn is surprised by this question and thinks for a while before she answers, "We will be together until you find the love of your life. I hope that will be Ava though."
"Haha, I'll try, but I don't think that is possible."
"Well, whoever you choose, I will always support you. But I ask you to take care of Ava; she is just... Well... She is still naive, so protect her if some scum guy tries to approach her in the academy."
"Okay, I will."
