Gu Dai, listening through her earpiece to the evasive conversations between Zhou Lin and Su Ting, fell into a moment of contemplation before responding seriously a few seconds later, "After he went there, he did nothing."

Gu Dai nodded firmly, "I do."
Hearing Gu Dai's defense of Su Ting, Song Ling's frustration grew, and he couldn't help but say, "So you like Su Ting this much, that you'd defend him no matter what he does."
Gu Dai found Song Ling's accusation baffling, "Su Ting is my boyfriend. If I don't defend him, should I defend you?"
