Mercuria leaned on the wall near the counter, waiting for Welfina to ask where to find a free audio-visual room. She was pretty chill, spacing out, when a small, cold grip enveloped her finger.
What bothered her the most is the sting she felt on her finger, followed by the zap that overwhelmed her entire body. It was as if she was electrocuted, and then burned, knives cutting her brain into countless pieces.
Mercuria clutched her head in an attempt to alleviate the pain, sweat sliding down her temple. The pain stopped in less than a minute as though it never happened, but the powerful throbs in her skull proves otherwise.
She stared at the humanoid creature resembling that of a child, who was responsible for the suffering just now. It had an almost transparent body akin to that of the deep ocean, dark-blue in color. Its blood vessels can be seen glowing white, like circuits powering the functions of the body.
