"Maya, this is Eric," Katerina said as a shy little boy hid behind his mother's legs.
"Hello," Maya said as she extended a hand toward the little boy.
He looked up at his mother, then to Nate, as if asking them if it was safe to approach her.
"It's okay, Eric, Maya is my girlfriend," Nate said.
His words seemed to put the little boy at ease as he stepped out from behind his mother and walked up to Maya.
She could now see him clearly, there was no question that he was the late actor's son. He had the same almond-shaped eyes, the same black hair, the same pale skin, even his smile made him look like a smaller version of his father.
"Hello," he said as he looked up at Maya.
"What's your name little boy?" Maya asked as she saw a brilliance in his eyes, the same brilliance that she had seen in her son's.
"Eric, I'm three years old," he answered proudly as he held up three fingers.
