The man who sat before Nathaniel was a shadow of the Xander Hall he knew.
Xander might be their half-brother, but one look at them and there would be no doubt in anyone's mind that they were brothers.
"Xander," Nathaniel said as he took his seat across from Xander.
Ezra chose to remain standing as he found a spot behind Nathaniel and leaned against the wall, keeping his eyes on Xander.
"Nathaniel," came Xander's rough voice.
The man had clearly been through a lot. Angel had already exacted her revenge on him, even if it was not enough to bring her brother back.
"Do I need to ask why you came back? Why you chose to go against me?" Nathaniel said glaring at the man.
Xander's head was bowed, his blond hair longer than Nathaniel's, blocking his face from view.
"You took everything from me," Xander said gruffly.
"I think we established that last time," Ezra said, rolling his eyes as took a step closer. "Why did you come back?"
