"Why would a letter from that whore make Grandpa let you go?" Ezra spat.
The twins hated Linda Hall more than even Nathaniel or his mother. In Ezra's and Emilia's eyes, it was Linda Hall's fault that Xander felt they owed him the world.
"She wanted to make amends, of course, that sent off all the alarms in Grandpa's head and he said it was best if I was close to you," Angel shrugged.
"We need to deal with Xander as soon as possible," Emilia grumbled.
"Do you have any news from your people?" Angel asked her cousin.
"No," Emilia sighed. "He's staying put, behaving."
"Why don't we just take him out?" Max asked as anger flared in his eyes.
"Because Xander Hall is much more capable than you think," Emilia glared at Max, making the man back down.
Nathaniel couldn't help but nod in agreement.
